🐾🌟 Meet Bear and Rocky – The Dynamic Duo! 🌟🐾 🎀 Names: Bear (Mastiff/Pit Bull mix) & Rocky (Rottweiler/Pit Bull mix) 🐶 Ages: Bear (Born 7/19/2018), Rocky (Born 11/29/2017) 🏠 Location: From Forgotten to Forever Rescue Denver Bear and Rocky are more than just a pair of dogs – they're best friends and devoted brothers who share an unbreakable bond. This inseparable duo is on the lookout for a forever home where they can continue their adventures together and bring endless joy to their new human companions! 🌟 Personalities: Bear is a brindle beauty who is as smart as he is handsome. A quick learner with a heart of gold, he's always eager to please and will do anything to make his humans happy. Rocky, on the other hand, is the milder of the two, offering a calm and gentle presence that complements Bear's energetic spirit perfectly. Together, they make an unbeatable team! 🐾 Interests: These outdoorsy pups thrive on sunshine and fresh air, whether they're racing around the yard or simply basking in the warmth of the sun. They have a deep love for their human companions and want nothing more than to be by their side, sharing in all of life's adventures. Bear and Rocky enjoy chewing on bones and toys, and they're both learning the command to "down" like pros! 💖 Ideal Home: Bear and Rocky are seeking a forever home where they can be the center of attention – no other animals, please! While they adore humans of all ages, they would do best in a home with pre-teen to teenage children and up, as their size and exuberance might accidentally overwhelm younger kids. 🐾 Weight Update: As of 8/9/2023, Bear weighed in at 80.4 lbs, while Rocky tipped the scales at 84.8 lbs. With guidance from their veterinarian, they're working on achieving a healthier weight, and by all appearances, they're making great progress! 🏡 Adoption: If you're searching for a pair of incredible dogs to join your family, look no further than Bear and Rocky. With their boundless love, unwavering loyalty, and infectious enthusiasm for life, they're sure to bring endless joy and happiness to their forever home. Could that home be with you? Story
Onyx is a 18-month-old purebred male German Rottweiler. Adopted from a CO breeder, he is AKC registered, microchipped and been living with his humans since he was 8 weeks old. His last physical was 12/2024; he is up to date with his shots and weighs 140 lbs. He is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, some sign language and is on a raw food diet. He loves carrots, celery sticks and pig ears. He is somewhat dominant and stubborn; he will need a firm handler. He is good with our young adult kids, but it is unknow how fitting he would be with young children. He is a goofy and loving furball but as most Rotties, is unaware of his size and strength. Onyx would benefit to be rehomed with ACTIVE owners that can provide him with LOTS of outdoor space for him to run and hang out. He loves to sit on the porch with his humans and watch life happen outside, however, basic walks, play time and staying in WILL NOT do it. He needs acres, a farm house or a similar living setting.

Story
Hello. I'm Aries, a seven-month-old puppy, and I'm delighted to introduce myself. I'm an energetic, kind, and loving companion who enjoys showering affection through kisses, engaging in playful activities, receiving belly rubs, giving cuddles, and taking naps. While I may feel slightly anxious around new people, I adapt quickly. I'm excellent with children and other dogs, and I've formed strong bonds with my foster mom, her puppy Midnight, and my foster dad. I was already potty trained upon arrival at my foster home, and my foster mom is teaching me the basics! I'm looking for a forever home to give my love and sassyness to as well as finish my training! ##2319579##

Story
If you're looking for a fun-loving and adventurous companion, look no further than Bobb! This handsome adult male is an affectionate and athletic pup who loves to explore and play. Bobb is brave and curious, always sniffing out new adventures and ready to take on the world. He's a friendly pup who loves meeting new people and getting lots of pets and belly rubs, and he's also smart and funny - what's not to love? While Bobb is submissive towards other dogs, he loves to play with them, so he'll fit right in if you already have a furry friend in the house. He's the perfect all-around companion for anyone looking for a fun and loving furry friend. Bobb was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.  Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. Dogs adopted with our rescue come with FREE training from #GoodPup to help you build strong bonds from the start! If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  A new study has concluded that (in layman's terms), breed assumption is NOT indicative of behavior in mixed breed dogs.  Therefore, if a dog looks presumably to be a German Shepherd breed, one cannot assume the dog will have a high prey drive.  From the study: "Although many physical traits were associated with breeds, behavior was much more variable among individual dogs. In general, physical trait heritability was a greater predictor of breed but was not necessarily a predictor of breed ancestry in mutts. Among behavioral traits, biddability—how well dogs respond to human direction—was the most heritable by breed but varied significantly among individual dogs. Thus, dog breed is generally a poor predictor of individual behavior and should not be used to inform decisions relating to selection of a pet dog" - https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abk0639 ##2334637##

Story
Hi I`m Betsy! My years have taught me the value of companionship and I`ve perfected the art of being a loving friend. I`m also quite the cuddle bug, always ready to snuggle up for a good petting session. I enjoy playing fetch, going for car rides, and am potty trained. I do love my food and my toys, so HSPPR recommends working with a certified trainer to help manage my favorite things. I am also looking for a home without small animals. I love to lean in for pets, it`s my way of saying `I trust you`. I`ve got a lot of love left to give, and I`m hoping to find a forever home where I can share it. Adopt me, and let`s fill our days with sweetness and gentle companionship.

Story
Candi is a fun loving, playful, active Shepherd mix, who is fully vetted, HW neg and microchipped. Though she does get along with most dogs, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only fur baby, receiving all the attention. Candi is house broken, but as far as being crated...she prefers to not be confined, so we don't currently crate her. Candi loves to go for walks, though she is very strong and wants to lead! She needs a strong hand and leash training. She's a smart girl, and has learned to open the back door at her foster home. If there is another dog in the home, Candi needs to be fed separately, as she will protect and scuffle over her meal! She hates being alone, so another easy going dog or a family who is home most of the time, would be ideal for Candi. Shei loves cuddles and lots of attention! *NO cats for Candi! *****Candi is currently located in Dallas/Fort Worth, so transport would need to be arranged!***** If interested in adopting, please feel free to fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org
