I have a heart issue and when I take her out she pulls me and has caused me to fall. I don't have the physical strength due to my health issues (heart issue) to give her what she needs and it's not fair to her. I want her to be happy. She is known as a Rottle. Rottweiler and Poddle Mix (Standard). She needs a place where she can get all her energy out and we currently live in an apartment. She gets along fine with my other dog but struggles when other dogs come near since I have not been able to fully socialize her. She up to date on shots but needs to be spayed. She is not treat/food motivated, she prefers petting as a reward, however she will take the treat too. I don't want to give her up but she needs and requires more that I can give to her, so I can't be selfish.

**Mollie is a board and train dog through Brighter Days. Please read all about this before applying to adopt** Mollie is a 2 year old Rottie mix Mollie was surrendered to Brighter Days Dog Resue because her previous owners had never taken the time to train her properly. Becuase of this she was surrendered to Brighter Days to find a family who actually has the time and dedication a 4-legged companion needs. When an adult dog comes to us lacking any sort of training we immediately get them into our board and train program. One of the main reasons dogs get euthanized in an overcrowded shelter is due to lack of training. When we started Brighter Days we made a commitment that we would make sure every single Brighter Days Dog would be set up for a life time of success, which includes training. Our trainer works so hard to get these dogs to be wonderful, stable, balanced, obedient, great dogs. To make sure their hard work is not lost over time due to owners who don't continue the training, we require each one of our adopters who is adopting a board and train dog to take our trainers classes in longmont. It is an eight week course that is usually $300, but for Brighter Days adopters it is free! Here is what our Trainer has to say about Mollie: Mollie is a high energy, hilarious, sweet and affectionate dog. Mollie will need daily exercise, so an active home is best for her, a home that enjoys walking, running, hiking, etc. Also she needs a house with a big yard and a fully enclosed with a 6 foot privacy fence. She is an awesome dog and will be perfect for the right, active family. We are going to require Molly goes to a home without other dogs, cats, and kids just to make sure she is set up for success.
