Story
Margot, a loving 2-year-old Rottweiler mix, is ready to bring joy and light into her forever home. She seeks a compassionate individual who will make her the center of their life. After 8 months of growth with her trainer, Margot is now ready to blossom with the perfect person. She is potty trained, crate trained, and showcases impressive skills in basic obedience, with ongoing refinement of her leash walking and off-leash recall. Though initially shy, Margot quickly opens up, craving attention and connection. She has a preference for women but also embraces men with warmth. As a happy-go-lucky dog, Margot thrives in a single-dog household, yet she delights in playdates with her friends. Her ultimate forever home is to be the cherished focal point, nestled in a semi-active home where cuddles on the couch are plentiful. Margot is suitable for a novice owner who is willing to learn and grow with her. Prior dog experience is preferred but she is flexible and ready for her new family.

Story
Frankie is a stunning, 5 year old, female, Rottweiler. She originally joined MHCR a few years ago. As her adoptive family grew, welcoming 3 kiddos, two of which were twins, Frankie grew uncomfortable with the chaos that ensued. She came back into our care now seeking a home without any kiddos. Frankie has been hard at work on weight loss! She was a whopping 124 lbs!! She’s down to 103 lbs now and is ready to find a forever family committed to helping her achieve her weight loss goals. Ideal weight is likely around 85 lbs so she has a ways to go. Luckily, she LOVES fetch! She will chase a tennis ball around all day long and never tire. She’s a very playful girl and playing is definitely her love language. She seems to do ok with other large dogs – however she’d love to be the queen if someone’s castle. She tends to do better with dogs that aren’t super high energy (which makes sense given her dislike of toddlers). She’s house trained, too! She’s independent (minus playing) and comes for loves but isn’t driven by them. A secure fenced in yard is a must! Frankie is being fostered in Lakewood, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/frankie/. Story
**Mollie is a board and train dog through Brighter Days.  Please read all about this before applying to adopt** Mollie is a 2 year old Rottie mix Mollie was surrendered to Brighter Days Dog Resue because her previous owners had never taken the time to train her properly.  Becuase of this she was surrendered to Brighter Days to find a family who actually has the time and dedication a 4-legged companion needs.  When an adult dog comes to us lacking any sort of training we immediately get them into our board and train program.  One of the main reasons dogs get euthanized in an overcrowded shelter is due to lack of training.  When we started Brighter Days we made a commitment that we would make sure every single Brighter Days Dog would be set up for a life time of success, which includes training.  Our trainer works so hard to get these dogs to be wonderful, stable, balanced, obedient, great dogs.  To make sure their hard work is not lost over time due to owners who don't continue the training, we require each one of our adopters who is adopting a board and train dog to take our trainers classes in longmont.  It is an eight week course that is usually $300, but for Brighter Days adopters it is free! Here is what our Trainer has to say about Mollie: Mollie is a high energy, hilarious, sweet and affectionate dog. Mollie will need daily exercise, so an active home is best for her, a home that enjoys walking, running, hiking, etc. Also she needs a house with a big yard and a fully enclosed with a 6 foot privacy fence. She is an awesome dog and will be perfect for the right, active family.  We are going to require Molly goes to a home without other dogs, cats, and kids just to make sure she is set up for success.   If you are inerested in adopting Mollie please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com ##1403699##

Story
Introducing Miss Andi.  Just look at that face! Who doesn't need that in their life? Andi came to us from New Mexcio and will win your heart the minute you meet her.  She is about 4 months old and has never met a stranger. She's very smart, extremely food motivated and a real snuggle bug.  Miss Andi has learned to use the doggie door in her foster home and does well in the kennel at night. She's your typical playful puppy, currently obsessed with pinecones and stuffies. Andi would love to have another tolerant dog in her forever home, be that to play tag in the backyard or to snuggle with on a soft dog bed.  She has all her age appropriate vaccinations, is spayed, microchipped and ready for her new home.  Her foster mom may not be ready, but that's a different story... ##2247762##
