A litter of seven young puppies were being sold by an unhoused person on the streets of San Antonio when an angel stepped up to purchase all of The Seven and ensure they were adopted out through a reputable rescue who would also ensure they went to the best furever homes. Nothing is known about Mum or Dad- four girls and one boy are black with tan to rich brown markings making them look more Rottie, and one boy and girl are tan and look like Yellow Labrador Retrievers. One of the siblings DNA test showed: 41% Rottweiler, 24% Australian Cattle Dog, 9% American Staffordshire Terrier, 7% American Pit Bull Terrier, 7% German Shepherd Dog. Ducky is not shy or afraid of anything- her foster thinks she'd take on a Mountain Lion! The Seven have received their 1 year Rabies, Bordetella and 2nd DAPP (3rd due by 11/3/2024). Ducky weighed in at 18.25 pounds on 10/2/2024. The Seven arrived in Colorado 10/17, are being fostered in Highlands Ranch, and are available for adoption today! ##2216263##

I'm great with kids, dogs and cats. Barking is pretty rare for me. I get very excited and get the full body shakes when it's time for walk, hike, or the dog park. I was trained at American K9 Academy in Commerce City, CO, so I'm pretty well trained. I can walk on leash or off leash, I also know place, kennel, sit, down, inside, outside and let's go for when we're going on an adventure. Since I was trained at American K9, I'm allowed to go there for free refresher courses and allowed to be kenneled there for when you're out of town. I'm kennel trained, but definitely prefer sleeping on my dog bed or with you at night. I'm excited for my new owner to find me for my forever home. Luna is a five-year-old boxer with lots of love to give! She is a very energetic and playful dog. Luna has been previously attacked on a walk, so other dogs make her nervous. She is potty trained, goofy, loves humans, loves pets, play, and learning, and would do best an only dog with loving caretakers. Luna is allergic to poultry and needs anti-itch shots every 3 months or daily pills to avoid her getting red, inflamed, burning, itchy, and very irritated spots all over her body. Due to Luna's breed, she also needs antiacid medication. When she is on both, she feels so much better and enjoys her life so much more. Luna likes to spend her days playing, receiving pets, and taking naps. She is very smart and trainable, and definitely wants to bond with her person. Her cleverness can sometimes lead to her being a little mischievous, but with her new trainer, we are working on self-control, calmness, enrichment, and making good choices. Luna's mom just passed and is now hoping to find her next loving home. Luna will come with some free training sessions with her behavior specialist. Her owner's family is waiving the adoption fee.
