I`m Echo and I am ready to find my forever home! I came to the shelter as a stray with another dog, so I know how to share my space. One of my absolute favorite things in the world is a good butt scratch. Treats are another big motivator for me. If you have the space in your home for another companion, come visit me! If interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website by following https://www.ark-valley.org/adoption-matchmaker-application/. We recommend calling the shelter at 719-395-2737 after you submit your application to ensure that we have received it. You can also give us a call if you have any questions or would like to learn more about a specific animal. Walk-ins are welcome during our open hours Monday-Saturday 12-5pm, although an adoptable animal may be in a foster home instead of at the shelter, so we also recommend calling us prior to driving to the shelter to confirm the pet`s current location. If you prefer emailing instead, you can reach our staff at to info@ark-valley.org, however, time sensitive matters would be addressed quicker via phone.Note: We do not DNA test our animals to determine breeds. The listed breed(s) are either an educated guess from staff based on physical characteristics, or from information given by their previous home.
