Story
Chomp is a very sweet, polite, patient, calm, and curious guy. He walks decent on a leash and loves people. Chomp would do best in an adult only home as he doesn't really know how to act around small children and gets nervous. His reaction to cats is unknown. He is dog friendly but somewhat selective. It would require a proper and slow introduction with your other pets. Chomp was rescued from the SWC pound and we are just hoping to find a brighter future for him, he deserves it :)

Story
Rebel is a super sweet senior boy who just wants to lay around and keep you company. It is evident he has had a rough history, and really needs somewhere for a soft landing. The shelter is not that place, he needs a home. Rebel is about 8 years old, appears to be a Rottweiler mix, would do best in a home where there are no small children. If you have other dogs who mind their manners and stay to themselves, Rebel would work out great for you! He just doesn't like to be messed with. Rebel tested positive for heart worms after coming to us, so a calm household is preferred

Story
Who needs some Gin? Gin's estimated DOB is 05/15/2022 and she's a black and brown Rottweiler. Gin and Tonic are sisters who were found and brought to us as strays. Tonic has found her home, but Gin is still looking for her people. She would love to be in a home with a playmate. Gin can be timid at first, but she warms up to new people within a couple of days and when she sees somebody she knows approaching, she wags her whole entire butt! She learned the "sit" command exceptionally fast and is treat-motivated. So far, her favorites seem to be peanut butter treats, and she's not a big fan of the bacon kind. She's also been working on leash training and is doing a great job! She weighs 50 pounds. All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open from 9am-4pm, seven days a week. For more information, please email us at havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com, or give us a call at 417-835-3647.
