Story
**Big, Sweet Velcro Dog in search of his Velcro Human. **I'M: Sweet, lovable, able to self entertain, food motivated, not the kind to bolt out the front door **I LOVE: food, naps, howling at dinner time, being unaware that I'm built like a tank, car trips, medium walks, chewies *KIDS: I behave well with kids of all sizes *DOGS: I'm cool with large dogs, can get rowdy with medium dogs, and there's one small male dog I really don't like *PREY DRIVE: I don't care about the backyard squirrels *CATS: I haven't really been around them *MEDICAL: I'm an adult neutered male, chipped, fixed, vaxxed, no known health concerns **THE BAD: I guard my food/bones from other dogs, I can be unintentionally rowdy because I'm big, I don't like my feet/ nails touched, I snore like an old man and will eat a stick of butter off of the counter **OPEN TO:** Forever home. Trial visitations. He comes back if he doesn't find his forever home. Open adoption (he could stay with us if you go on vacation, etc.).

Story
Anna needed a little extra time to adapt to the shelter and get to know staff better. She was a little hesitant to let her guard down but once she did she became the sweetest girl! When first meeting Anna she may need a little time to get to know you better too but we promise she is worth knowing! Anna is a velcro dog once she`s comfortable with you and will look for you anytime she is feeling a little nervous. Anna’s previous owner did not mention how she does with other animals. She did arrive to the shelter with her sister and they get along great. She has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter and may do well with a friend. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed. Anna should not be adopted into a home with small animals because she has injured a pet rabbit and will most likely continue to chase the small critters. It was noted that Anna did do well with children but can be a mouthy player at times. Please keep this in mind when considering adopting Anna. Anna is potty trained and will scratch at the door when she needs to go potty. She is also crate trained and was typically crated when left alone to help keep her on her best behavior! Anna also walks well on and leash and knows the cues “sit, “lay down ` and `shake `. Anna loves to play and will be happiest in a home that can provide regular exercise. Her favorite toys are stuffies, stuffed kongs and snuffle mats! Anna is such a sweet girl who just needs time to relax and open up more. We have loved getting to know Anna better and would love for you to meet her if you feel that your home would be a good fit!

Story
6years old While she has the playful energy that Boxers are known for, she will settle and rest on her bed – but is more comfortable cuddling with her people on the couch or in a bed. She has general anxiety when going to new places, busy events/stores and prefers to be a couch princess, yet still loves to get outdoors on walks and fetching her frisbee (Red Kong). It will definitely take some time for adjustment, but once she gets to know you you’ll see her fun and loving side. Living Situation: Always have lived in a single family home. No fenced backyard. Dogs go outside to do their business and then come back inside. Why Rehoming: There is a dominance issue with our dogs. Situations out of the blue have triggered them into fights (bumping into each other in narrow spaces for example). We believe a form of dominance plays a factor between our two boxers, but have also noted that instances of “protecting family members” (humans) has also sparked instigative behavior.

Story
Hope is a 7 year old Boxer/lab mix. She does great with any human, however only typically does well with other dogs when she’s slowly introduced to them or they’re a puppy when met. She loves fetch and will play for hours if you let her! The best home would be one where she’s the only dog with very outgoing owners. It breaks my heart to rehome her as she’s been there for me through so much but she’s not getting the life she deserves in return. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to fill in the blanks.
