You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. PittieLove Rescue, Inc. a 501c3 orgainization is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue. Adoption Fee: $500 Our information is current if you are interested in adopting please read our  Adoption Policies before filling out an Adoption Application. https://www.pittieloverescue.org It is the easiest way to start the communication and adoption process. Introducing Screech! One may never believe this little gremlin came to us from the streets of Boston as a stray. Screech is a one-of-a-kind French Bulldog with a big personality packed into a wobbly little body. With his gremlin-like charm and signature screechy Frenchie noises, he turns heads everywhere he goes. Don’t let his unsteady steps fool you—when toys come out, Screech transforms into a joyful little acrobat, leaping through the air with pure excitement. He’s incredibly people-loving, always ready for attention, snuggles, and new friends. Screech also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him an easy fit in a variety of homes. Equal parts silly and sweet, he’s the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter (and a lot louder in the best way). **French Bulldog breed experience preferred** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.www.pittieloverescue.org Please consider a donation so that we may continue the important work we do. Story
Due to the owner's illness, Miss Fig was returned to us as her family could no longer care for her. Miss Fig embodies everything you would expect from her breed—she is comical and full of personality. She thrives in a home with another small dog but can also be your one and only companion. Her compatibility with cats is unknown. Fig is both housetrained and crate trained. She adores car rides and eagerly waits by the door to accompany you on errands. Playful and energetic, she can enjoy a cozy evening watching TV or engage in a lively game of tug. Veterinary care can be costly, and French Bulldogs often require more medical attention than many other breeds. Fig has a luxating patella, which does not affect her mobility, but you will need to keep an eye on her zoomies. Last year, her ears were treated twice for yeast and bacteria infections. After switching her diet to Venture Rabbit and Pumpkin dry formula, her ear issues have significantly decreased. She also had a histoma in her ear that was treated, resulting in one ear flopping when it healed, which we believe adds to her charm. Additionally, she requires daily tail cleaning using Malaket (dispensed from her veterinarian) wipes for her tail and pocket. If this level of care seems overwhelming, it may be best to reconsider adopting a Frenchie, as this is minimal compared to the needs of other French Bulldogs. Submit your app at www.almosthomeri.org

Story
Meet Dave 🐾 Dave is a 1.5-year-old Frenchie with a personality that’s as perfect as they come. He’s friendly, affectionate, and full of that classic French Bulldog charm—equal parts goofy entertainer and professional cuddle bug. Dave loves being around people and is happiest when he’s included in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s hanging out at home or heading out for an adventure. He’s also great with kids and has the kind of easygoing, loving temperament that makes him a wonderful family companion. Dave may also do well with other dogs of a similar size and temperament, especially with proper introductions. Dave is truly an incredible dog—but he is also a special one. He has a condition called Fanconi Syndrome, which means his body doesn’t process nutrients the way it should. Because of this, Dave will require lifelong care, including a prescription diet, daily supplements, and regular monitoring with an internal medicine specialist. While he feels great and lives a happy, normal life, his care will be more involved—and more expensive—than the average dog. His future family should be prepared and committed to meeting those needs. Dave doesn’t let any of this define him—he’s still the same joyful, loving pup who just wants a family to call his own. If you’re ready to open your heart (and plan ahead for his medical care), Dave will reward you with endless love, laughter, and companionship. Apply to adopt today, and/or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions! 🐶

Story
Bailey’s journey began quietly in a small neighborhood, where she appeared alone and uncertain. She was taken in to keep her safe while every effort was made to find where she belonged. She was shared widely through local lost-and-found groups and scanned for a microchip, but despite many people trying to help, no owner ever came forward.   In the time since, Bailey has had the chance to settle into the comfort of a home for the first time in what is likely a long while. Slowly, you could see her soften—learning that she was safe, that gentle hands could be trusted, and that she didn’t have to figure everything out on her own anymore. She has truly begun to bloom.   Bailey is about 1½ years old, spayed, and fully up to date on her vaccines. She is a deeply affectionate, tender-hearted dog who forms strong bonds with her people. Her greatest joy is simply being close—curled up beside you, resting her head near you, or quietly asking for more time together. With children, she is especially gentle and sweet, as if she understands how to be careful with something precious.   She is crate trained and house trained, and she settles nicely into a home routine. Bailey doesn’t ask for much beyond companionship and reassurance that she belongs.   Because of her history and the way she connects so closely to her person, Bailey can become protective of her people and her valued resources like food and toys. For that reason, she will do best as the only pet in a calm, stable home where she doesn’t have to share her emotional space or feel uncertain. With consistency, kindness, and clear guidance, she thrives and becomes even more confident in who she is.   At her core, Bailey is a dog who loves deeply and quietly, with her whole heart. She is loyal in a way that feels personal, like she has been waiting for someone to choose her and mean it forever. For the right person or family, Bailey won’t just be a pet—she will be a steady shadow, a gentle presence, and a companion who finally gets to exhale and stay.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 14, 2026, 9:49 am

Story
Meet Malibu and Diesel, the ultimate senior “odd couple” who have spent their entire lives bonded and would love start their next chapter still together. They came to the shelter because their family sadly lost housing. Malibu is a stunning 100 lb., 10-year-old Malamute with a soft heart behind her initially shy demeanor. Give her a little time (and maybe a treat or two), and she quickly warms up into a loyal, affectionate and super smart companion. She prefers a quieter home with calm, responsible adults and/ or teens. True to her breed, Malibu has a signature Malamute howl that is so iconic she even taught a Chihuahua at the shelter to join in!Diesel is her easygoing counterpart. He is a social, confident guy who enjoys meeting new people and brings a laid-back charm wherever he goes. He’s looking for adopters who understand and can keep up with his typical care needs, and in return, he offers steady companionship and a great personality. Diesel will need adopters who are dedicated to his need to keep his skin/coat clean and fresh. Together, they balance each other beautifully. This pair have so much personality, sweet, soulful, and full of character. Malibu and Diesel are ready to bring double the love to a home that will cherish them both.If you are interested in adopting this bonded pair, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm, with all of your household members. If you are unable to come during those times please email Dogs@WorcesterARL.org for times that we may have available by appointment.

Story
Meet Charlie — 36 pounds of snuggly chaos wrapped in a Beagle/Pug mystery blend, aged 3 years and fueled entirely by enthusiasm, feelings, and snacks. Charlie is a professional cuddler, elite blanket burrower, and part-time zoomie athlete. He operates on two settings:
1️⃣ Full-throttle play mode — bouncing, leaping, and occasionally expressing himself with a little mouthy enthusiasm
2️⃣ Marshmallow mode — melting into your lap, pressing his face into yours, and tunneling under the covers like a cozy little mole He adores his people. Like, nose-to-nose, please don’t stop petting me, ever level adoration. Affection is his love language, followed closely by treats (more on that in a second). ✨ Training glow-up alert:
Charlie is highly treat-motivated, and it’s paying off in a big way. With snacks on board, he’s been doing great walking near people and dogs and has been friendly when meeting strangers. Public outings have become much calmer when treats are involved. He’s currently working with trainers at Tayls in Trails in Watertown, MA, and showing real progress. Snacks = success. The fine print (aka, Charlie’s boundaries): ·       🐶 Other dogs? Hard no. ·       🐱 Cats? Also no. ·       👶 Kids? Not a match — we’re looking for an adult-only home. Charlie wants to be your one-and-only. He’s not here for a group project; he’s here for a solo starring role. He will make his opinions known around other animals, so a pet-free home is essential. The good news? ·       💩 House trained ✔️ ·       🛏️ Crate trained ✔️ ·       ❤️ Loyal, affectionate, hilarious ✔️ Charlie has a big personality and an even bigger heart. With structure, continued training, patience, and a steady supply of treats, he’s going to be someone’s absolute soulmate dog — the kind who sleeps under the covers, follows you everywhere, and loves you like it’s his full-time job. Adopt Charlie — because beneath the spice is a gooey, devoted marshmallow who just wants to snuggle his way into your life (and your bed). 🐾💛 If you are interested in finding out more about Charlie, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Charlie is being fostered in Boston, MA. The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
