Story
Meet Genny!   Genny is a 1.5-year-old, 19-pound French Bulldog with all the charm and playful personality you’d expect from the breed. This sweet girl came to us as a local owner surrender after her family sadly lost their housing. While she previously lived with other dogs, Genny is currently adjusting to life in foster care with different canine companions.   She’s been great with the older children she’s met and hasn’t paid any attention to her foster family’s ferrets. Cats are unknown at this time. Genny is looking for a home where she can continue to thrive and share her joyful energy.   Genny has an appointment to be spayed and will not be adopted until that has been completed. Breed experience is preferred to ensure her future family understands her unique needs and quirks.   If you’re ready to welcome Genny into your home and heart, apply today!   is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you). To adopt or learn more about: , you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, visit our website: WWW.SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM ** PLEASE READ: If a dog/puppy is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. In some cases this dog may be pending an adoption already, and their profile has not been updated yet. Please note, SPR does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated otherwise. All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort. If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation. To learn more about our rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of FAQ’s on our website at WWW.SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM **The FIRST step in adopting an animal from our rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. Story
Meet Pickles!   Pickles is a 34-pound French Bulldog with a personality as big as his name! This fun-loving boy, approximately 1 to 1 ½ years old, was found as a stray and brought to a rural Texas shelter. He was covered in fleas and still has some patches of fur growing back in!  Pickles is an energetic boy who loves to explore and play with toys, specially his ball. He gets along great with his two foster sisters and is curious about everything they do. When he’s done running around and playing he loves to flop on the floor. Full Frenchie frog leg style. He’s food motivated and still working on letting us know he needs to go outside but has learned already to push the button on the door.  He absolutely love to be the center of attention. He’s crate trained and sleeps through the night with no issues.  Slightly larger than your average Frenchie, he’s a classic example of the breed: full of personality, a little stubborn, and endlessly entertaining. Breed experience is preferred to help Pickles thrive in his forever home and ensure he gets the structure he needs to complement his lovable quirks.   If you’re ready for a charming companion with a huge heart (and an even bigger personality), Pickles might just be your perfect match!   Interested in adopting Pickles? Apply today to meet him!   is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
