Story
https://foha.org/pet/milo2024/ ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Hi, I’m Milo (pronounced MEE-LO)—a small dog with a big heart! I’m a sweet, speedy little guy who loves both playful adventures and peaceful moments. I have a cute routine of carrying a chew toy in my mouth when I’m getting ready for walks. I enjoy spending time outside soaking up the sun and doing my lightning-fast zoomies. After a fun outing, I’m the perfect co-pilot who curls up and naps in the car. I’m a bit timid at first but eager to connect with my people. I’ve thrived in a home environment and have done well living with other dogs, though I do appreciate breaks from them sometimes. I’m loyal, intelligent, and affectionate—just the right companion for active yet cozy days. And make sure to scroll down past my bio to see all the AMAZING videos my foster mom has posted! You can really see how much I thrive in a home, and maybe it’ll help you see how I could be in your home and heart! HOW AM I WITH DOGS: Good with dogs with proper introductions. I’ve lived with multiple dogs and did great, but I may need patience and breaks from them occasionally. HOW AM I WITH CATS: I am a bit too interested in cats and would do best in a home without feline friends. HOW AM I WITH KIDS: Unknown. I KNOW THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS: Sit, stay, come. MY HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: I have good house manners! THINGS I LIKE: Chew toys, sunny yard time, car rides, cuddling, zoomies. THINGS I DISLIKE: Storms, sudden dog encounters in public places. FOHA ADOPTION POLICIES AND PROCESS – https://foha.org/pet-adoption/adoption-policies/ ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: Spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, distemper & Bordetella), 1-month access to Petcademy for training and behavior support, slip lead leash, 1 bag starter food, 1 month flea/tick & heartworm preventatives, diagnostic testing, and additional medical procedures as recommended by our vet. My adoption fee has been covered by a generous donor!!

Story
To learn more about Holly, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Holly will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Holly is a young, medium-sized Feist mix with a gentle soul. She can be timid in new environments, but even when she’s unsure, her sweetness shines through — she wags her tail at strangers, calmly observes children nearby, and prefers to stay close to her trusted person. Holly doesn’t appear to know basic commands yet, but she is naturally well-mannered and attentive. She may need patience and routine as she continues to feel safe settling into a new home. Once comfortable, Holly is an absolute love! She adores affection and will sweetly place a paw on you if you stop petting her too soon. She’s quiet, gentle, and enjoys leaning into her people for comfort. Holly rides calmly in the car and willingly settles into her crate at bedtime. With a patient home, reassurance, and encouragement, Holly will continue to blossom into a deeply loving companion who will make her future family incredibly happy.

Good with dogs,
Story
Current Location: Maurertown, VA Meet Farrah, a bold little firecracker with a big personality packed into a compact, Jack Russell–style body. This girl is confident, outgoing, and absolutely full of life. She does nothing halfway. When Farrah is awake, she is ready to move, think, play, and be heard. Farrah is extremely energetic and thrives with frequent activity, mental challenges, and clear structure. She is very vocal and has strong opinions about when it is time for fun, attention, or training. She loves people, engages fast, and brings an intensity that is best matched by an active household that enjoys working with a smart, driven dog. She is highly food and praise motivated, which makes her an excellent training prospect. Farrah wants a job and she wants feedback. With consistency and outlets for her energy, she will shine in training, games, agility style activities, or any environment where her brain and body are kept busy. Because of her volume and determination, Farrah would not be a good fit for apartment living. She needs space, activity, and people who appreciate a vocal, enthusiastic dog who expresses herself clearly and often. In the right home, Farrah will be an absolute star. Farrah is not for the faint of heart, but for the right active person or family, she will be endlessly entertaining, deeply engaging, and incredibly rewarding. She is learn, ready to work, and ready to give her whole bold heart to someone who can keep up. Find out more about Farah on her foster's website as well, AnotherGoodDog.org

Story
Introducing Tiny T: Proof that Good Things Come in Small Packages Looking for a furry companion who will brighten up your life and fill your days with love and laughter? Look no further, for Tiny T is here to capture your heart and be your loyal companion for life. Tiny T may be small in stature, but he makes up for it with his larger-than-life personality. At just 1 year old, Tiny T is a fierce adventurer who loves nothing more than to chase cars on his walks. With his long, fluffy cinnamon sugar coat, he may look like a sweet treat, but he's a brave and curious explorer at heart. So if you're looking for a dog who will accompany you on all your adventures, Tiny T is the perfect match for you. But don't worry, he's also a cuddle bug who loves nothing more than to snuggle up on your lap for attention. Tiny T has been sharing a kennel with his best buddy Urkel and they are inseparable. They have formed an unbreakable bond and we believe that they should be adopted together. They make the perfect duo, with Tiny T's and will bring endless joy to your home. Tiny T gets along other dogs and dog-friendly cats. He may be tiny, but he has a huge heart and so much love to give. If you're the type of person who can shower Tiny T with love and attention, he will be your loyal and loving companion for life. He's looking for a home with a loving family who will cherish him and his BFF Urkel and give them all the love and care they deserve. They would love a home with a patient family who will train this duo to have good potty habits. Fancy Cats will work with the adopter to be sure that both Tiny T and Urkel are neutered after adoption. Adopt Tiny T and Urkel and give them the happy ending they deserve! Title: Urkel - The Nap-Loving, Lap-Sitting, People-Pleasing Chihuahua Mix Meet Urkel, a one-year-old male chihuahua mix with the most adorable quirks and the biggest heart. Urkel may be small, weighing only 14 pounds, but he has a big personality and an even bigger love for people! And he’s not alone - he comes with his best friend Tiny T, and they are looking for a loving family to call their own. Urkel's affectionate nature is one of his special traits. He is constantly by your side, always wanting to be your loyal and loving companion. And don't be surprised if he follows you around, curious to explore every nook and cranny of his new home. He especially loves to sniff around and investigate every tree, shrub, and blade of grass he comes across. But don't let his small size fool you - Urkel is an active and playful boy. After a good round of playtime, he loves to crash on the nearest warm lap or comfortable spot. He will even fall asleep sitting up because he doesn't want to miss out on any cuddles or belly rubs. Urkel gets along great with other dogs and even cats. In fact, he and Tiny T are the best of friends and must be adopted together. They have a special bond and keep each other company when their humans are away. We are looking for a loving home where Urkel and Tiny T can get all the love and attention they deserve. A home where someone is able to spend time with them and give them all the cuddles and belly rubs they want. They are both extroverted and people-pleasers, so they will thrive in a home where they can be a constant companion and soak up all the love and affection. They would love a home with a patient family who will train this duo to have good potty habits. Fancy Cats will work with the adopter to be sure that both Tiny T and Urkel are neutered after adoption.
