Story
Meet Storm, a sweet, shy boy who was saved just in time. Storm was pulled from a kill shelter right before he was scheduled to be euthanized. We’re so grateful that we could give him a second chance, but now, he’s looking for a forever home where he can continue to thrive. At around 2 years old, Storm is a lovable Feist mix with a gentle nature. He’s a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’s an affectionate, playful companion. He has a medium energy level, making him a great fit for someone who wants a dog that’s active but also enjoys downtime and cuddles. Storm gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids, though his behavior with cats is still unknown. Storm is house-trained and will be neutered soon. He’s up to date on his vaccinations and is microchipped. Though he’s still a little shy, we’re confident that with time and patience, Storm will open up even more and become the loyal, loving dog he was always meant to be. If you’re looking for a sweet dog with a kind heart who needs a loving family to call his own, please consider giving Storm the forever home he deserves. He’s ready to bring joy and companionship to someone special. If you’re interested in adopting Storm, please reach out! Let’s help him find his happily ever after.

Story
https://foha.org/pet/milo2024/ Meet Milo – A Small Dog with a Big Heart! Hi there! I’m Milo, a sweet and speedy little guy with a mix of playful energy and a love for peaceful moments. When I’m getting ready for a walk, I like to grab a chew toy and carry it in my mouth—it’s my little routine, and my foster thinks it’s pretty adorable! I get excited when I see other dogs out and about, but at home, I’m incredibly calm and peaceful. Honestly, my foster says I’m one of the best dogs they’ve ever had from FOHA! I love spending time outside in the yard, soaking up the sunshine and showing off my lightning-fast zoomies. But when the adventure is over? I’m the perfect co-pilot—within minutes of getting in the car, I’m curled up and fast asleep. Living in a home has been amazing for me! I’m a little timid at first, but I truly want to connect with my people. Feists like me are known for being loyal, intelligent, and affectionate, and I live up to that reputation. I’ve also done well with the other dogs in my foster home! I might need slow introductions and some patience, and I do appreciate having breaks from other dogs now and then, but with the right match, I could happily share my home with a canine friend if I find the right match! If you’re looking for a dog who can keep up with your adventures but also loves a good cuddle, I might be your perfect match. Come meet me and check out my videos on my bio page - https://foha.org/pet/milo2024/ to see just how special I am!

Story
Oahu is pure sweetness wrapped in a soft, wiggly puppy body! She is full of love and eager to share it with her future family. She learns quickly, listens well, and just wants to do the right thing. If she gets a little too curious (like testing out a shoe as a snack), she's easily redirected and happy to chew on a toy instead. She's adjusting to home life beautifully-walking nicely on a leash, playing happily with other dogs, and getting closer to being fully house-trained every day. She's still a bit shy when meeting new people, but with gentle encouragement, she's learning that people can be her friends too. Oahu is looking for a family who will give her the love and patience she needs to blossom. In return, she'll offer endless snuggles, a lifetime of loyalty, and the kind of love only a rescue pup can give. Could she be the missing piece to your heart?
