Story
❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Henry👋 an endearing handsome boy with cute unbalanced ears! Henry was found alone on a street in S. Korea at four months old in July 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter. Fortunately, having been rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, he lived in a crowded private shelter with numerous dogs until July 2023, when he found a foster home. His loving foster family has been taking good care of him since. Henry has learned a lot about how to love and be loved by his people. He is full of charm and can’t wait to show it to his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Curious, Adorable Henry is a calm and independent pup with a strong curiosity! All he needs in the beginning is enough time for him to get himself accustomed to the new environment. He is not a big cuddler, but you can see some of his lovely sides once he warms up to you💕 First of all, his unbalanced ears are absolutely something to adore about him! His energy level is medium-low. He is mostly chill and spends most of his time at home resting. He only gets excited and active when having a walk outside. He is neither a barker nor a destroyer! • Affinity with - Dogs: Generally good with other dogs. He wants to say hi to other dogs on a walk, though he prefers calm friends and tries to ignore barking/hyper dogs. - Cats: No aggression but just excitement & curiosity. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults except loud/aggressive male adults. / He just tries to avoid kids when they approach. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered, pacing with his people without pulling the leash. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly going potty outdoors but he knows how to use pee-pads indoors when necessary. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit when strangers come inside the house. • Car Sickness: in training • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: Henry loves being petted, going for walks, and meat! / He doesn’t like big gestures and sudden loud noise, though he is not sensitive to usual residential noise. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Henry, please don't hesitate to apply!

Story
Hi everyone my name is Jasper and I am about to turn 9 years old and I am a Corgi and pug mix boy that is 24 lb and my 90 yr old  Dad is going into assisted living.   His family is not able to take me and let me live out the rest of my life with them so they have asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to find a foster for me and I have a really good one. I'm lucky because lots of people ask them every hour of the day to get a new place for their dog. I'm a good boy and I really like medium to small dogs best because big dogs kind of intimidate me. I haven't been around cats either so that is a BIG question mark. You can see from my pictures I'm quite playful and I have a great smile. I am a housebroken and I really don't need a crate because I'm a good boy when loose in the house and I'm minding my P's and Q's when you're gone. I've got lots of great healthy years ahead of me. I'm looking for someone special to spin them with. Someone that loves a good strong playful medium sized dog that does everything right in life. Because my original Dad never took me out with other dogs much, I am mostly defensive when I am confronted with other dogs.  They scare me honestly.   I just need to be in a home with no other dog so I can feel safe and secure.  Hard to teach an older dog like me new tricks. But I know someone will just want only ME to be their one and only, so I'm looking for happy people because I'm happy boy. I've got a great outgoing personality and I can help you make more friends if you just take me for walks and let me work my cuteness factor and charm.  I'm neutered, I'm totally vetted and healthy and I'm microchipped. I'm also very ready to spend the holidays with you as my new best friends and forever family . Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com If you would like to know more about me and apply to adopt. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 7, 2024, 10:18 pm

Story
Hey, my girlfriend and I just adopted nitro and nibbles Wednesday 12/11 from a lady on Lancaster puppies when we quickly realized they were going to be a little too much to handle. The first day we got them it was a disaster they both had a bad trauma response to us causing for mayhem our first night keeping them. However since then each day has been significantly better so much so it saddens us to even make this decision but we know ultimately it’s the right one. They are really good dogs at heart however they need the space to run and play truly. They are 7 months old which led to us getting them in the first place but they are still in need of training. They are making progress with learning there name and simple commands as well as nitro seems to get a little anxious causing him to have accidents randomly. All in all with the proper love and time these dogs are going to be amazing as we have discovered in our extremely short tenure is that all they want is just love.

Story
Name: Honey Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 6 years old Best Guess for Breed: Corgi Mix Weight: About 25lbs Lives With: Dogs, cats, and people! She LOVES everyone. Housebroken? Honey is housebroken and crate trained. Story: Honey was rescued from North Carolina during Hurricane Helene. We are so happy to have her safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Honey is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Honey is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Honey will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Honey is a sweetheart. She lives in a home with a cat and another, larger dog, and gets along perfectly with both of them. She has the cutest little hops while playing with her dog friend, and gently trots up to the cat and licks her forehead to say hello. Honey has been friendly with every other adult, child, and dog on walks. She is happy and comfortable walking through the city, even in busy areas, but she is quite vocal! She would do well in a home with or without kids or other animals. She would be just fine in a house or apartment, but does require a lot of exercise and stimulation daily. She enjoys car rides. Honey is an avid snuggler and loves nothing more than curling up in her person’s lap, or by their shoulder. She has adjusted well to having a new schedule and environment, and is amendable to learning training basics.  The fee to adopt Honey is $450. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines. Honey has been seen by a shelter vet and we are not aware of any health issues. If you think that Honey might be your perfect match, apply today!December 17, 2024, 9:05 pm
