Story
Bitsy was bought for my oldest son and is sweet and affectionate but a barker. He will both alert bark (for an understandable event like someone at the door) and just for attention (directly to you if he wants pet/played with). He is particularly bad at barking in the car and at my cat to the point where she can not come downstairs. He has never hurt/attacked the cat but is very vocal when he sees her. My oldest son is relucent to get rid of his dog but between my mom being allergic, me not having enough time to exercise him with my youngest son's special needs, the conflict with the cat and barking all the time, we can not keep him. Bitsy is 2 yo and loves to run, play tug of war and cuddles. He is great on walks (off and on leash) and knows a few basic commands. He is very gentle when playing with both my sons and loves to cuddle with them. He will come with everything: records, bed, treats, toys, harness, ect. Everything bought for him since owning him.

Story
Hi everyone my name is Jasper and I am about to turn 9 years old and I am a Corgi and pug mix boy that is 24 lb and my 90 yr old  Dad is going into assisted living.   His family is not able to take me and let me live out the rest of my life with them so they have asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to find a foster for me and I have a really good one. I'm lucky because lots of people ask them every hour of the day to get a new place for their dog. I'm a good boy and I really like medium to small dogs best because big dogs kind of intimidate me. I haven't been around cats either so that is a BIG question mark. You can see from my pictures I'm quite playful and I have a great smile. I am a housebroken and I really don't need a crate because I'm a good boy when loose in the house and I'm minding my P's and Q's when you're gone. I've got lots of great healthy years ahead of me. I'm looking for someone special to spin them with. Someone that loves a good strong playful medium sized dog that does everything right in life. Because my original Dad never took me out with other dogs much, I am mostly defensive when I am confronted with other dogs.  They scare me honestly.   I just need to be in a home with no other dog so I can feel safe and secure.  Hard to teach an older dog like me new tricks. But I know someone will just want only ME to be their one and only, so I'm looking for happy people because I'm happy boy. I've got a great outgoing personality and I can help you make more friends if you just take me for walks and let me work my cuteness factor and charm.  I'm neutered, I'm totally vetted and healthy and I'm microchipped. I'm also very ready to spend the holidays with you as my new best friends and forever family . Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com If you would like to know more about me and apply to adopt. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.December 7, 2024, 10:18 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Max, an 8-year-old Corgi mix with a heart as big as his adorable, short-legged frame. Found abandoned and suffering from a severe skin condition, Max’s journey hasn’t been easy, but his resilience shines through every wag of his tail. Fully recovered and vetted, Max is now neutered and healthier than ever, ready to find his forever home. He’s a gentle soul who gets along wonderfully with other animals and loves nothing more than curling up for a cozy nap on the couch. With his sweet nature and laid-back personality, Max is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal, loving friend to share quiet moments with. Max has been through a lot, and now all he needs is a soft spot to land—and a family to love him, just as he is.
