Story
Meet Denton, the sweetest little old man with a heart full of love and a story that will melt yours. Left behind at a boarding facility, Denton was sadly abandoned at 10 years old, but his spirit remains gentle and kind. We think he’s part Corgi, and although his cloudy eyes make him bump into things now and then, his love for life is still bright!   Denton is well-behaved, quiet, and loves nothing more than to snuggle with his humans. He’s working on house training and is making great progress with regular breaks. This senior sweetheart doesn’t ask for much—just a peaceful home, a cozy bed, and a kind hand to guide him through his golden years. Denton does great on gentle walks and enjoys the fresh air, which is perfect for keeping his joints moving. He’s calm around other dogs, could care less about cats, and is simply happy to be by your side.   Denton is looking for a home to fill with warmth and unconditional love. If you'd like to give this sweet soul the love and care he deserves, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast weekly. For more info and FAQs, visit crittercavalry.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 6, 2024, 6:14 pm

Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - MATILDA BREED - Corgi mix SIZE - About 25 pounds AGE - 1 year GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Meet our sweet and happy Matilda! She is the bestest girl ever and she's waiting patiently for you to come meet and play with her. She LOVES to run and play almost as much as she loves being right by your side with sloppy smooches! Matilda was recently found as a stray in a rural eastern NC county and taken to the shelter. Sadly no one claimed and her euthanasia date was scheduled. At the last minute we learned about this perfect girl from rescue friends and we jumped into action. Matilda seems to know that she is special and that we believed in her. She's been a joy to interact with and we are anxious to find the perfect home and family for her. At a year old she is fully grown, weighing in at 24 pounds. What a great size for most homes! She is long and low like a corgi, but is clearly a mix of something perfect. Matilda is in great health and is ready to find her perfect family. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. We are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with this amazing dog! A home with a fenced, secure yard will provide her room to safely run and play, hopefully with lots of toys! Matilda is not well suited to small children or very small dogs who could be upset by his enthusiasm, but will fit nicely into many other homes. Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Matilda and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet her at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. More information on our website at www.carerva.com.

Story
2 yrs old. Chase is so friendly & happy! Loves everyone and other dogs! Kids 8 and up ok. Another playful doggy playmate would be perfect. Fenced yard would also be helpful. He is an absolute sweetheart and such a kind soul! He does need work on housebreaking. He wears a belly band. Another dog should help with that! If you are interested in meeting Chase, please read all adoption information and send us your application! https://morgansmuttsrescue.org/adoption-info-%26-app-1
