Story
Diego is a sweet boy and loves to snuggle. He weighs 14.5 lbs., has a high energy level, and is very strong for his size. He is great with other dogs and would thrive where he had rowdy dogs to play with, space to run free, and an owner with lots of time to spend with him. He will chase cats. He is sensitive to chicken in his food, has sensitive skin and stomach, has a problem with nervous licking, and needs his anal glands expressed monthly. He is easily startled, nervous in new situations, and requires daily exercise and mental stimulation. I do not know if he has ever been around children. He is shy before he gets to know new people, but warms up quickly. He has had several homes and was around many other dogs in his last home. He comes when called and is crate-trained. He will use pee pads with attractant but will have accidents if his schedule is altered. He loves bones and toys. He comes with his food, heartworm prevention, crate, toys, coats, shirts, leash, and collar.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Max, an 8-year-old Corgi mix with a heart as big as his adorable, short-legged frame. Found abandoned and suffering from a severe skin condition, Max’s journey hasn’t been easy, but his resilience shines through every wag of his tail. Fully recovered and vetted, Max is now neutered and healthier than ever, ready to find his forever home. He’s a gentle soul who gets along wonderfully with other animals and loves nothing more than curling up for a cozy nap on the couch. With his sweet nature and laid-back personality, Max is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal, loving friend to share quiet moments with. Max has been through a lot, and now all he needs is a soft spot to land—and a family to love him, just as he is.
