Story
Looking for a new home for our corgi/blue heeler mix, Bosco. He's a wonderful dog, very sweet, and trained. He's 4 years old and knows a handful of commands (Sit, Wait, Place, Down, Paw, Spin, Back-Up, loosely heal) and is crate trained (sleeps in his crate every night). Our family recently had a baby, and it has increased the stress levels for the dogs. Bosco has done well with the baby, by wanting to lick his feet and be close, but he has been fighting with our other dog over food/attention. He's done this off and on over the past 2 years and we got a trainer to work on those issues, but it hasn't been fully resolved. The new home would need to be a home with no cats or dogs, he just needs a lot of love and probably a daily walk. It tears my heart to do this because he is a fantastic dog, but he just doesn't get along with our other dog. He is slightly reactive and has a loud bark. We are including his food, bed, crate, leash, collar, flea medication for future use and some toys.

Story
**Meet Posie – The Sassy Queen You’ve Been Waiting For!** Posie is a fabulous 6-year-old pup about 25 pounds who *knows* she's in charge—don’t let her small stature fool you. She’s got a big smile and cute perky ears, but let’s be clear: this girl runs the show. She’ll absolutely melt your heart with her snuggles, especially when it's bedtime—prepare to be her personal pillow. She loves to cuddle under the covers like she owns the bed (which, let’s be honest, she probably does). Now, when dinner time rolls around? Get ready for the *Posie Happy Dance*! She'll also give you a grand welcome every time you come home with a bouncy bark (a little "hey, I missed you!" moment) that will make you feel like a superstar. Posie *is* dog-friendly but don’t expect her to be best buds with every pup she meets. She’s just not the playing type—more of a “watching from a distance with mild disinterest” kind of gal. No problem! She’s totally fine living as your one and only fur-child, or even with a low-key, respectful dog who knows how to give her space. Posie currently lives in a home with a backyard, 2 teenagers and 5 other dogs. She is completely potty trained and can be left alone in a room without being crated. Her favorite place to sleep is in the bed with you. She would prefer a home with a fenced yard as she isn’t the biggest fan of going on walks. She’d honestly rather just be carried. Although she lives with 4 other dogs she just really wants to be with her human. Ready to add a little diva to your life? Apply for Posie today—but be warned, she’s a queen, and she expects to be treated as such. 👑 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectible, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Meet Scooter Booter! He is currently 8 weeks old, 8 pounds, and we think he may be a Corgi/Chihuahua mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Scooter's video here: This tiny boy is the complete puppy package! Scooter Booter is playful and so entertaining to watch - we love his puppy antics, watching him fearlessly investigate everything and everyone on what we think may be his short Corgi legs. (Also - have you seen those amazing adorable ears?!) According to Scooter, everyone he meets is his new best friend, and we love his amazing personality and joyful spirit. Perhaps best of all - Scooter loves to spread that joy with kisses - lots and lots of kisses! His tongue may be small, but it is fast, and can cover a surprisingly large surface area, lol. Scooter loves soft stuffies and squeaky toys, and is still very much a puppy, so he will play, play, play, then crash out wherever he is for a quick nap. This tiny boy is definitely is living the best puppy life - eat, nap, play, repeat - all he needs now is YOU! Scooter is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/675af109ca301f0ba8004c0d Please email Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1600.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
