Hi I’m Curly! I’m a husky mixed boy (maybe with lab?) around a year old. I also weigh around 40-45 pounds! I was adopted when I was just a baby, but unfortunately being returned after my people decided I needed better. I know it’s tough for them, and I’m not mad. A little sad, but I’ll be ok. Anyways, I’m fully vetted, up to date on all vaccines, HW- and ready to go! I’m dog, cat, and kid friendly so there’s no reason not to pick me! I’m potty and crate trained. So I’m basically what you call a unicorn dog! I’d love another doggy friend to keep up with me and play with me. Or maybe some kiddos I can run around in the backyard with! I don’t hurt any cats, but I do like to play with them. Anyways, I really hope this next time around will be my forever home. And I hope you can give that to me. ❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Henry👋 an endearing handsome boy with cute unbalanced ears! Henry was found alone on a street in S. Korea at four months old in July 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter. Fortunately, having been rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, he lived in a crowded private shelter with numerous dogs until July 2023, when he found a foster home. His loving foster family has been taking good care of him since. Henry has learned a lot about how to love and be loved by his people. He is full of charm and can’t wait to show it to his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Curious, Adorable Henry is a calm and independent pup with a strong curiosity! All he needs in the beginning is enough time for him to get himself accustomed to the new environment. He is not a big cuddler, but you can see some of his lovely sides once he warms up to you💕 First of all, his unbalanced ears are absolutely something to adore about him! His energy level is medium-low. He is mostly chill and spends most of his time at home resting. He only gets excited and active when having a walk outside. He is neither a barker nor a destroyer! • Affinity with - Dogs: Generally good with other dogs. He wants to say hi to other dogs on a walk, though he prefers calm friends and tries to ignore barking/hyper dogs. - Cats: No aggression but just excitement & curiosity. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults except loud/aggressive male adults. / He just tries to avoid kids when they approach. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered, pacing with his people without pulling the leash. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly going potty outdoors but he knows how to use pee-pads indoors when necessary. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit when strangers come inside the house. • Car Sickness: in training • Appetite/Food Allergies: He eats well! / No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: Henry loves being petted, going for walks, and meat! / He doesn’t like big gestures and sudden loud noise, though he is not sensitive to usual residential noise. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Henry, please don't hesitate to apply!

Story
Pirate is a year-and-a-half old 24-pound corgi mix. Saved by hero he now has a new chance at life and he loves life! This energetic, sweet love bug still has a lot of puppy attitude. He is potty trained, and he has quickly learned how to properly and politely walk on a leash. Going for long and exciting walks is his favorite activity as he loves to explore the beautiful outdoors. He would thrive best in a fenced-in yard where he can chase balls and play fetch with you, he never wants to stop playing. In the afternoons he also enjoys naps on the couch or in his pen. Someone active outdoors will make a great fit for this active little guy. Pirate is male-selective and takes some time to accept strangers. Someone with some experience with young active dogs would be the best for him, and a playmate would also be fun. We think for this reason he would do best in a home with no small children. This smart cookie will make you smile every day! Please be his special person because he deserves the forever family he dreams of. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
