We adopted Wink 5 years ago in 2020. He is overall an amazing dog very intelligent is well behaved. He was is people/kid/and infant friendly as well as dog friendly. He also tolerates cats but would do best in a home without them. When we adopted Wink he was about 3 years ild so he now going on 8 years old. The main thing we really want for wink is a home that is loving and nurturing as well as parents who can give him the amount of attention and affection he deserves.

    Ruby Lynn is an adorable 2-year-old "low rider" with short legs and a bit of a longer body than you'd normally see with those short legs! She is absolutely adorable, super sweet, and loves to give kisses.   She definitely gets along well with other dogs ( her foster mom, has 2 dogs of her own) and all Ruby Lynn wants to do is play with them. She would do great with another dog in the house and would love a fenced backyard where she can play. She is almost house-trained, though not yet 100%. But it's no secret - you just need to take her outside frequently, and she will be there in no time.    Unfortunately, Ruby Lynn is heartworm positive as she wasn't given preventatives, but she is very low, stage 1, and following her treatment, she will be completely healthy. She is adoptable now to someone willing and able to complete the process; you will receive instruction, and support from the Angels vet team, all the way through the process!  The process is easy and she is easily worth it - not to mention you will love the time to bond with her.    She is a bit of a chowhound and loves food at any time. So,  she is a bit overweight and will need to have her food monitored. Scrappy is an adorable 3 year old welsh corgi mix who recently got surrendered to the shelter because his owners new place doesn’t allow pets. He’s now confused and looking for his forever home! He's currently up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and heart worm negative - he’s ready to go! He is noted to be house trained, great on the leash, quiet, and sits for treats. Come meet your new best friend in kennel 833, his ID is 8382. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. Hi I’m Curly! I’m a husky mixed boy (maybe with lab?) around a year old. I also weigh around 40-45 pounds! I was adopted when I was just a baby, but unfortunately being returned after my people decided I needed better. I know it’s tough for them, and I’m not mad. A little sad, but I’ll be ok. Anyways, I’m fully vetted, up to date on all vaccines, HW- and ready to go! I’m dog, cat, and kid friendly so there’s no reason not to pick me! I’m potty and crate trained. So I’m basically what you call a unicorn dog! I’d love another doggy friend to keep up with me and play with me. Or maybe some kiddos I can run around in the backyard with! I don’t hurt any cats, but I do like to play with them. Anyways, I really hope this next time around will be my forever home. And I hope you can give that to me. ❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Henry👋 an endearing handsome boy with cute unbalanced ears! Henry was found alone on a street in S. Korea at four months old in July 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter. Fortunately, having been rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, he lived in a crowded private shelter with numerous dogs until July 2023, when he found a foster home. His loving foster family has been taking good care of him since. Henry has learned a lot about how to love and be loved by his people. He is full of charm and can’t wait to show it to his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Curious, Adorable Henry is a calm and independent pup with a strong curiosity! All he needs in the beginning is enough time for him to get himself accustomed to the new environment. He is not a big cuddler, but you can see some of his lovely sides once he warms up to you💕 First of all, his unbalanced ears are absolutely something to adore about him! His energy level is medium-low. He is mostly chill and spends most of his time at home resting. He only gets excited and active when having a walk outside. He is neither a barker nor a destroyer! • Affinity with - Dogs: Generally good with other dogs. He wants to say hi to other dogs on a walk, though he prefers calm friends and tries to ignore barking/hyper dogs. - Cats: No aggression but just excitement & curiosity. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults except loud/aggressive male adults. / He just tries to avoid kids when they approach. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered, pacing with his people without pulling the leash. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly going potty outdoors but he knows how to use pee-pads indoors when necessary. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit when strangers come inside the house. • Car Sickness: in training • Appetite/Food Allergies: He eats well! / No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: Henry loves being petted, going for walks, and meat! / He doesn’t like big gestures and sudden loud noise, though he is not sensitive to usual residential noise. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Henry, please don't hesitate to apply!
