Story
Pirate is a year-and-a-half old 24-pound corgi mix. Saved by hero he now has a new chance at life and he loves life! This energetic, sweet love bug still has a lot of puppy attitude. He is potty trained, and he has quickly learned how to properly and politely walk on a leash. Going for long and exciting walks is his favorite activity as he loves to explore the beautiful outdoors. He would thrive best in a fenced-in yard where he can chase balls and play fetch with you, he never wants to stop playing. In the afternoons he also enjoys naps on the couch or in his pen. Someone active outdoors will make a great fit for this active little guy. Pirate is male-selective and takes some time to accept strangers. Someone with some experience with young active dogs would be the best for him, and a playmate would also be fun. We think for this reason he would do best in a home with no small children. This smart cookie will make you smile every day! Please be his special person because he deserves the forever family he dreams of. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Story
Hi everyone, I'm Jamara! I believe I'm a Labrador and Corgi, but who knows? I weigh about 30 pounds, and I'm four years old. My foster says I'm a "Low Rider." And while I'm short, I make up for it in cuteness. I love to run and play with other dogs, and my favorite place to sleep is in a lap. But I'm already crate and house-trained, and I sleep all night without a peep. Are you looking for an excellent dog for your home? Here I am!     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Please ensure you understand those restrictions prior to choosing a dog. We verify rental policies and adhere to any restrictions.           December 15, 2024, 12:42 pm

Story
Snowflake is a very loving dog. She just needs to be in a home where she has the love and attention she needs. My daughter and I are rarely home because of work and activities. We had no idea how our lives would change lately. I realize the pictures are not very good, but I am sure they are a reflection of how Snowflake feels being home alone most of the day. I pray that she can find a loving home soon.

Story
Sweet Ella came into animal control with her babies Stella and Ella. We decided to rescue the whole family and they are safe into foster homes. Ella will never have to be used for babies any more and will be spayed on 12/9. She is around 2-3 years old and weighs 24#. She is available now for a meet and greet and pre-adoption. Ella appears to get along with all dogs and cats. OUR PETS ARE SHELTER PETS. WE HAVE VERY LITTLE, IF ANY, INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR PAST. PLEASE BE COMMITTED AND PREPARED TO TRAIN/RETRAIN YOUR NEW PET. REMEMBER, THEY MUST HAVE TIME TO DECOMPRESS. If you have not heard of the 333 Rule, please Google it. If you are interested in making this pup part of your family, please email us at madrescuega@gmail.com . Please give a brief description of your home, family and what you are looking for in a new furry family member. You may include anything else you think will move you to the top of the adoption list. We are located in Hollywood, SC but this dog is being fostered and is available for adoption in Newborn GA. If you are not local to the area, we can refer you to a transport company. This company is not affiliated with the Rescue and will charge a separate fee.

Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Mango :) She was rescued from a high-kill city shelter and was about to be euthanized. However, due to her refusal to be touched by strangers, she underwent a lengthy training program with her foster family and is now doing very well. If you give her enough time and unconditional love, he will become your best friend. • Affinity with -Cats: She is currently doing well with the cats in her temporary home. She is not aggressive towards cats and ignores them. -Dogs: She is currently getting along well with the dogs in her foster home. They usually play well together, but there are times when she is shy. -Adults/Kids: She is shy with people, and is good with people she knows well (she gets treats), but is very cautious with touch. Sudden touch from strangers (adults & kids) can cause her to act defensive (she hasn't bitten yet but acts like she will, or she pees when picked up and held suddenly, or she jumps away), but she will sniff and recognize when approached cautiously. • Shedding: Usually, her coat will increase when winter comes. The fur gets stuck to the fabric rather than shedding. • Walking Manner: She loves to go for walks, in both familiar and new places. Sometimes hesitates to go for a walk in crowded places (but does well in moderate crowds). • Housetrained: She's housebroken and doesn't cause too many problems, but she still chews on wood and plastic items. She goes potty on her pee pad, but much prefers to do her business outdoors. When outdoors, he relieves himself on dirt or grass. • Bathing/Brushing: She takes baths well (though not her favorite). She also likes to be brushed. • Separation Anxiety: She has always lived with other dogs but has no problem when her foster family goes out of town. • Bark or Howl: She barks when she hears strangers outside. She barks when strangers come to visit, but there's no aggression - she doesn't howl. • Carsickness: She gets nervous when riding in the car, so she can get car sick when traveling for long periods. She tolerates it well for about 30 minutes. • Her favorite things are a set routine, family, walks, playing in the park, and her favorite treats (tridles, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cheese, chicken, beef, duck, etc.) • Personality: She is a little timid, cautious, gentle, and good-natured. She loves going for walks with her family, spending time at her favorite park, and just being at home with her family. She also loves walks, parks, and hikes, and at home, she's happy to be in her own space (fluffy or crate) or sit quietly by her family's side.
