Story
❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Henry👋 an endearing handsome boy with cute unbalanced ears! Henry was found alone on a street in S. Korea at four months old in July 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter. Fortunately, having been rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, he lived in a crowded private shelter with numerous dogs until July 2023, when he found a foster home. His loving foster family has been taking good care of him since. Henry has learned a lot about how to love and be loved by his people. He is full of charm and can’t wait to show it to his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Curious, Adorable Henry is a calm and independent pup with a strong curiosity! All he needs in the beginning is enough time for him to get himself accustomed to the new environment. He is not a big cuddler, but you can see some of his lovely sides once he warms up to you💕 First of all, his unbalanced ears are absolutely something to adore about him! His energy level is medium-low. He is mostly chill and spends most of his time at home resting. He only gets excited and active when having a walk outside. He is neither a barker nor a destroyer! • Affinity with - Dogs: Generally good with other dogs. He wants to say hi to other dogs on a walk, though he prefers calm friends and tries to ignore barking/hyper dogs. - Cats: No aggression but just excitement & curiosity. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults except loud/aggressive male adults. / He just tries to avoid kids when they approach. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered, pacing with his people without pulling the leash. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly going potty outdoors but he knows how to use pee-pads indoors when necessary. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit when strangers come inside the house. • Car Sickness: in training • Appetite/Food Allergies: He eats well! / No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: Henry loves being petted, going for walks, and meat! / He doesn’t like big gestures and sudden loud noise, though he is not sensitive to usual residential noise. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Henry, please don't hesitate to apply!

Story
A SWEET, SHY FELLOW:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 17 lbs. Hello – I’m Tuck!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I have been soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers ever since.  Now, it’s time for me to find a family of my own to love and cherish in my furever home.  Come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and although I didn’t really want to play, I also didn’t show any aggression.  I came in with another doggie that I like, so I might be more interested once I’ve settled into my new environment a bit more.  If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.      • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a super sweet little guy who is somewhat shy, but I simply can’t hide my affection for people.  I’m affectionate once I warm up and I’m beginning to come out of my shell more and more each day at the shelter – I’ll likely just need a little time in new situations.  I’m a little trooper, as I was initially afraid of the noisy bath sprayer, but then I settled in and was great for my bath and nail trim.  Likewise, I am a bit nervous when being leashed, but once out and about – I’ve been fine and carry on as usual. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've had just a handful of accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can fully master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Once I know you, I am happy to be in your company and spend time with you.  I see myself as a lap dog and love to be held. I’m sure we’ll find lots of other things we like doing together. / I can have a bit of touch sensitivity initially, so just go slow with our introduction, please.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  February 14, 2025, 11:29 am

Story
Hi I’m Curly! I’m a husky mixed boy (maybe with lab?) around a year old. I also weigh around 40-45 pounds! I was adopted when I was just a baby, but unfortunately being returned after my people decided I needed better. I know it’s tough for them, and I’m not mad. A little sad, but I’ll be ok. Anyways, I’m fully vetted, up to date on all vaccines, HW- and ready to go! I’m dog, cat, and kid friendly so there’s no reason not to pick me! I’m potty and crate trained. So I’m basically what you call a unicorn dog! I’d love another doggy friend to keep up with me and play with me. Or maybe some kiddos I can run around in the backyard with! I don’t hurt any cats, but I do like to play with them. Anyways, I really hope this next time around will be my forever home. And I hope you can give that to me. Email pawprintpackinc@gmail.com to meet me!

Story
Hi, I am looking for a warm and loving home for my baby Duke. I will be moving soon and unfortunately can not take him with me. Duke is a purebred Pembroke Welch Corgi that is 4 years old. I adopted him from a breeder of Corgis during the pandemic. Duke is a fun, loving, and caring dog. He enjoys being outside, laying on your lap, and rope toys. I really hope to find a family that has children, so he can have someone to play with. I am open to other families that are looking to provide a loving home for him. If that is you, please reach out.

Story
Pirate is a year-and-a-half old 24-pound corgi mix. Saved by hero he now has a new chance at life and he loves life! This energetic, sweet love bug still has a lot of puppy attitude. He is potty trained, and he has quickly learned how to properly and politely walk on a leash. Going for long and exciting walks is his favorite activity as he loves to explore the beautiful outdoors. He would thrive best in a fenced-in yard where he can chase balls and play fetch with you, he never wants to stop playing. In the afternoons he also enjoys naps on the couch or in his pen. Someone active outdoors will make a great fit for this active little guy. Pirate takes some time to accept strangers. Someone with some experience with young active dogs would be the best for him, and a playmate would also be fun. We think for this reason he would do best in a home with no small children. This smart cookie will make you smile every day! Please be his special person because he deserves the forever family he dreams of. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
