Story
Eggs is a 6 month old Low Rider Mix who is one happy guy! He is playful, smart, goofy and intelligent. He loves other dogs, people, and a tad over excited about cats. He has a voice so apartment’s will not be his thing! The best fit for Eggs is a home with a yard, older kids, and an adventurous family/person. He also would love a playful mate but be fine as a single dude with activity. Eggs is a catch!     March 25, 2025, 9:03 am

Story
Tater Tot (or Tater, fka Trent) has instantly made himself comfortable in his foster home. He is a very smart Cowboy Corgi mix approx 22# and knows some basic cues like sit and shake. Being about 1 year old, he still has that puppy energy and is constantly playing with toys or his foster sister. He's also a typical vocal Corgi, greeting all humans and dogs walking by the yard when he's outside, so he is not a good fit for an apartment situation and requires a fenced in yard. Tater is food motivated and loves his treats! He is learning how to take treats with a soft mouth. He is so excited he can't help himself! He is super sweet and enjoys snuggling with his foster parents on the couch. He sleeps in his kennel at night and appears to be mostly potty trained (He's had a couple of accidents, but he's also getting used to being in a new environment and routine). Tater would benefit from a patient and experienced owner who has the time to dedicate to his training and isn’t gone long hours. He is not kid or cat tested but a respectful child 12+ may be considered. If you’re interested in meeting Tater, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Tater is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside Colorado.    April 12, 2025, 7:22 pm

Story
This amazing ball of floof is Oreo. Oreo was surrendered by his owner due to too many dogs. Oreo is approximately 1.5 y/o and 30#. He is a good boy who would do best with another playful tolerant dog his size in his new home. He is a bit fearful of bigger dogs. Oreo walks well on the leash and would benefit from daily walks and a basic doggie manners class. Oreo is working on marking and gets better every day. He needs continued support and supervision and let outside often to do his business. He currently wears a belly band at night and sleeps in a dog bed. He tolerates a kennel for short periods but doesn’t love it, so someone home during the day would be best. His fluffy coat will require more than average grooming. Oreo is fearful of grabby hands, humans reaching over him, and fast movements towards him so only homes with children 12+ or no kids will be considered. We do not know how he is with cats but he is very herdy so cats aren’t recommended. Oreo is not a good fit for an apartment situation and requires a fenced in yard. A Corgi experienced home would be best as he’s not a good option for a first time owner. He needs some time to settle and patience while he learns a new routine in a new environment with new people. He can be nervous at first, but once he feels comfortable, he is very affectionate and cuddly. If you are interested in meeting Oreo, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Oreo is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $450 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado. April 13, 2025, 9:00 pm

Story
Meet Corey – The Last (and Loudest) of His Litter Corey is the cutest little pain in the butt you’ll ever meet. He’s the last of his litter, full of spunk, smarts, and unstoppable energy. This guy is all gas, no brakes—he needs a tolerant lead dog to help show him the ropes and calm his overstimulated brain. Corey is so smart and eager to learn, but life at the shelter makes it hard for his multitasking brain to focus. He absolutely adores Momma Lyric (not his real mom), who keeps him entertained and gently checks him when he’s pushing boundaries. Out in public, Corey can act a total fool on leash—he needs someone patient who can guide him and help redirect that behavior with love and structure. At home, he's likely to view everything as part of an agility course, so puppy-proofing is a must. Corey is a wild child with a huge heart and so much potential. He just needs the right home to help him grow into the rockstar dog we know he can be. Think you’re up for the challenge (and the cuddles)? Reach out to LOLA’s Rescue at 303-343-1031 to meet Corey! Dogs that state ***RESCUE CENTER*** are available for meet and greets 7 days a week between 11am and 4pm at Lola's Rescue Center located at 22351 E. Bayaud Place, Aurora CO 80018 Dogs that state ***FOSTER HOME*** will need to have a preapproved application on file before setting up meet and greets.  You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2298063##

Story
Benjii, corgi/shepherd mix, 6 yo, 36 lb, male.Benji is cute,  smart, loyal, and has a great steady shepherd-like personality.  He gets deeply attached, although needs a little bit of time to get used to a new place. Would be better as the only dog and would bond closer with a female owner. Would be better with teenage kids. He is patient and great at following the routine. Was found as a stray.   Adoption fee: $300. If interested, please submit an adoption or foster application at http://www.sanNicolaDogRescue.com  March 30, 2025, 7:55 pm

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained,
Story
I have had Alfie since he was 8 weeks old, he’s a few months over a year now. Basics: He’s housebroken to an extent - he goes outside but is quiet about showing he needs to go, he goes to the door & stands near it when he needs to go but doesn’t whine or bark, as long as you have a consistent routine you won’t have a problem. Training: Alfie is crate trained - he eats meals in his crate and will get in on his own. He does not bark, whine, or potty in the crate. He can sit and lie down with a treat. He’s ok recalling off leash but isn’t reliable enough to let him off leash if you are worried about cars, dogs, etc. Alfie understands “no” in any situation. Behavior: Alfie is a VERY GOOD boy. He has been around reptiles, rabbits, cats, and every kind of dog and has never shown aggression. He is also okay around all people including babies and small children - he is very energetic and will jump on legs so do keep that in mind. He is sweet, very smart, easily trainable, and loving.
