Story
Liam is a rescue. He came in as a stray to the San Pedro Harbor Shelter, San Pedro, CA. He had significant periodontal issues with flea dematitis. All that has been vetted and he has a clean bill of health. He is very treat motivated. He will start a beginning Park and Rec Obedience class in Lomita, CA on 1/8 which runs thru 2/12/25. Then he will be ready for a forever home. He is microchipped, is a dream at the groomer's and crate and house trained. He needs a home also with a safe and secure yard to enjoy time outdoors and for potty inbetween walks. He is great with the small dogs in the foster home as well as a medium size female dog. He is a cross between a Cardigan and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He is a blue merle tricolor with blue eyes. Beautiful coat. He weighs about 36 lbs. He travels wonderfully in a car and is not a heavy duty barker except he does howl at firetrucks and ambulances when they make their siren sounds. He does like his meals for sure. He will require some obedience training as far as walking slowly on a leash. That will start on 1/8/24. He tends to pull. He has a soft mouth and takes treats daintly. Adoption requiremnts are: PLEASE READ: Limited to an adopter(s) who has owned corgis or corgi mixes and is very savvy. Will only place in a home with older children 15 and up. Areas for adoption are: All of Orange County and most of Los Angeles. Email for a pre adopt ap and a meet/greet would be done at a local park in Torrance, CA once the ap is reviewed. Two week trial period and homeck is necessary after a meet/greet. The adoption fee is $400 but because the rescuer/foster is taking him thru obedience for the benefit of the adopter and Liam, himself, that fee of $150 is added.

Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Mango :) She was rescued from a high-kill city shelter and was about to be euthanized. However, due to her refusal to be touched by strangers, she underwent a lengthy training program with her foster family and is now doing very well. If you give her enough time and unconditional love, he will become your best friend. • Affinity with -Cats: She is currently doing well with the cats in her temporary home. She is not aggressive towards cats and ignores them. -Dogs: She is currently getting along well with the dogs in her foster home. They usually play well together, but there are times when she is shy. -Adults/Kids: She is shy with people, and is good with people she knows well (she gets treats), but is very cautious with touch. Sudden touch from strangers (adults & kids) can cause her to act defensive (she hasn't bitten yet but acts like she will, or she pees when picked up and held suddenly, or she jumps away), but she will sniff and recognize when approached cautiously. • Walking Manner: She loves to go for walks, in both familiar and new places. Sometimes hesitates to go for a walk in crowded places (but does well in moderate crowds). • Housetrained: She's housebroken and doesn't cause too many problems, but she still chews on wood and plastic items. She goes potty on her pee pad, but much prefers to do her business outdoors. When outdoors, he relieves himself on dirt or grass. • Shedding: Usually, her coat will increase when winter comes. The fur gets stuck to the fabric rather than shedding. • Bathing/Brushing: She takes baths well (though not her favorite). She also likes to be brushed. • Separation Anxiety: She has always lived with other dogs but has no problem when her foster family goes out of town. • Bark or Howl: She barks when she hears strangers outside. She barks when strangers come to visit, but there's no aggression - she doesn't howl. • Carsickness: She gets nervous when riding in the car, so she can get car sick when traveling for long periods. She tolerates it well for about 30 minutes. • Her favorite things are a set routine, family, walks, playing in the park, and her favorite treats (tridles, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, cheese, chicken, beef, duck, etc.) • Personality: She is a little timid, cautious, gentle, and good-natured. She loves going for walks with her family, spending time at her favorite park, and just being at home with her family. She also loves walks, parks, and hikes, and at home, she's happy to be in her own space (fluffy or crate) or sit quietly by her family's side.

Story
❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Henry👋 an endearing handsome boy with cute unbalanced ears! Henry was found alone on a street in S. Korea at four months old in July 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter. Fortunately, having been rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, he lived in a crowded private shelter with numerous dogs until July 2023, when he found a foster home. His loving foster family has been taking good care of him since. Henry has learned a lot about how to love and be loved by his people. He is full of charm and can’t wait to show it to his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Curious, Adorable Henry is a calm and independent pup with a strong curiosity! All he needs in the beginning is enough time for him to get himself accustomed to the new environment. He is not a big cuddler, but you can see some of his lovely sides once he warms up to you💕 First of all, his unbalanced ears are absolutely something to adore about him! His energy level is medium-low. He is mostly chill and spends most of his time at home resting. He only gets excited and active when having a walk outside. He is neither a barker nor a destroyer! • Affinity with - Dogs: Generally good with other dogs. He wants to say hi to other dogs on a walk, though he prefers calm friends and tries to ignore barking/hyper dogs. - Cats: No aggression but just excitement & curiosity. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults except loud/aggressive male adults. / He just tries to avoid kids when they approach. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered, pacing with his people without pulling the leash. • Separation Anxiety: None. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly going potty outdoors but he knows how to use pee-pads indoors when necessary. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit when strangers come inside the house. • Car Sickness: in training • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: Henry loves being petted, going for walks, and meat! / He doesn’t like big gestures and sudden loud noise, though he is not sensitive to usual residential noise. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Henry, please don't hesitate to apply!

Story
☑️ Currently located in S. Korea ☑️ Meet Jamong: A Sweet 4-Year-Old Welsh Corgi Looking for His Forever Home! Jamong is a male Welsh Corgi, estimated to be around 4 years old. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to bring joy to a loving family! His Story: Jamong’s previous owner cared for him for four years, but when their child needed to focus on preparing for university exams, Jamong was tied up and neglected at a goat farm owned by an acquaintance. Concerned neighbors alerted a rescue organization, and he was brought to a private shelter where he is now being well-cared for. Although his former owner asked for him back, the shelter refused—because Jamong deserves a home where he will be truly loved and cherished. Jamong's Personality: Jamong is a social dog, but he doesn’t show a strong preference for playing with other dogs. He enjoys their company and will run and bark when they play, but he truly prefers to be close to people. He hasn't been introduced to cats, and he doesn’t pay much attention to chickens. He likely hasn’t learned how to properly play with friends yet, but we’re confident that with the right family, he will blossom. He’s lively, affectionate, and eager to please. There’s no sign of separation anxiety, and he prefers to go to the bathroom outside. We believe that with love and care from a dedicated family, he will grow into a wonderful companion. Why Adopt Jamong? Jamong is looking for a family who can provide him with new experiences, patience, and unconditional love. He’s ready to be your loyal friend and brighten your days with his lively spirit and sweet nature. Will you be the one to give Jamong the loving home he deserves? If you think you’re the right match for Jamong, please reach out to us to learn more about this lovable Corgi!
