Story
Hello! I’m CC! I'm a cute boy roughly 4-year-old who is curious of the world. I love people very much and whenever I walk down the street, there are always people who want to play with me. I am scared of other dogs so I would bark at them and ran away. I never played with small kids before, but maybe someone can give me a chance. James is super busy and he keeps feeling sorry for not keeping me company and I always feel bored. I hope someone with experience can give me a forever home and more attention. I am ready for the new life. I’m neutered, up to date on everything! I hope you ask about me!!! Key facts: - Good w/ people - Like to bark - Like to play w/ toys

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $750   Roomba is a 10 month old Corgi x Maltese mix ready to sweep up the competition for your heart! Roomba was rescued from the shelter with some of his cleaning pals. They were overcrowded and reached out for help so of course we jumped into action! Roomba is a perfect All American Rescue who clocks in at 20 pounds. He’s just perfect and is ready to jumpstart his next adventure with you! Roomba is waiting patiently on the shelf of your local big box store for you to take him home and unwrap him, so what are you waiting for!     Roomba is the ultimate perfect dog who is the best blend of sweet, cuddly, and gentle. He loves his toys and has such a positive outlook on the world around him. He is an ambassador for canines everywhere and loves tackling adventures with his humans at his side. He learned how to play fetch quickly and delights in zooming after his toys for hours. Roomba has a way of placing his paw on your chest and snuggling into your lap that will make it useless to try and resist his charm. He is so full of love and affection it’s hard to believe it’s contained in his small body! Roomba has gotten braver by the day and loves checking out the local sniff spots, beaches, and hiking trails. He would be an amazing adventure companion for a family looking to check off some bucket list activities in 2025. Roomba is so goofy as well, always making his humans laugh with his silly antics, like trotting up and down the stairs with his ever-growing collection of stuffed toys. He is a true snugglebug as well, always ready for cuddles and belly rubs. Roomba would love to find a home where he can continue his adventures, maybe with another dog to play with. He has so much to offer the world and with a face as cute as is, it’s pretty hard to resist his puppy dog eyes!  Roomba wakes up around 7 AM and heads out on his morning stroll around the block. He returns home for breakfast at 8:15 which is followed by a treat and a belly rub. Before the workday starts, Roomba gets an adventure around the city before he settles down for a nap. During the day, Roomba likes to play with his toys and follow his people as they go about their days. He gets a few outings during the day to sniff and go potty before a long afternoon adventure. Dinner is served between 5:30-6 PM every day. After dinner, Roomba hangs out in the living room with his humans as he plays with his toys and gets his belly rubbed. He goes out for one last walk at 10 PM and then gets himself ready for bed. Roomba has lived with dogs of varying ages and sizes and gets along very well with them all. He loves meeting humans when he is out on his adventures and would be a great family dog. Roomba walks well on a leash and is house trained. Whoever is lucky enough to bring this pawsome pup home will have a lifetime of cuddles and adventures. Come and meet your new Roomba today!      Roomba is an option for a variety of experience levels. Kids should be over the age of 7.January 2, 2025, 6:53 pm

Story
Pembroke Welsh Corgi Mix Age: Senior Male, neutered 20 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Llew was picked up by animal control off the streets of Hayward. He was unable to use his back legs. Otherwise he seemed in fairly good shape. He must not have been on the streets for long. It is suspected that he had a back problem (IVDD) that was never treated. He has responded well to anti-inflammatory and pain medications. He has gained some use of his back legs (he can stand and walk a few steps). He has been in physical therapy for a few months. UPDATE: With diligent persistence from his foster home, Llew is walking again on his back legs. He is a little wobbly, but he is using his back legs all the time - no more dragging. For all he has been through, he has an excellent demeanor - very friendly, very loving. He can come off as a little “pushy” to some dogs, but overall he gets along well with all the dogs in his foster home. He needs a home with no stairs, and where someone is home most of the time. He would prefer a home with another friendly dog. Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs is willing to assist with his vet costs, if needed. Even though he has regained the ability to walk with his hind legs, the jury is still out on whether he has control of his bladder and bowels. He appears to pee when he goes outside, but he doesn't stop and pee. Similarly, he doesn't stop and poop - it just comes out when it is ready.
