Story
Queen Elizabeth was found behind AALOC, cowering under a car, afraid to come out. Luckily the AALOC team is amazingly skilled at gaining the trust of frightened animals and was able to convince Queen Elizabeth to allow them to help her. Multiple attempts were made to find her previous owners but no one claimed her, so Queen Elizabeth Is ready to start a new life with a new family. We believe Queen Elizabeth is a very young corgi mix. She was in foster care recently after being spayed and her foster called Queen Elizabeth “a real character” and “a lot of fun.” They said she likes to play with squeeky toys and will run after them when they are tossed. She’s a good walker and gets along with other small dogs. The photo of two dogs is Queen Elizabeth playing with Isabelle, her bestie at AALOC. She is both potty pad and crate trained. Please complete an application to adopt Queen Elizabeth at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet ‘Queen E’ and get to know her a bit. Adoption donation of $165 per dog includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Story
ARLO! ADOPT ME! I HEAR YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT ME! So Cal! Available thru JMM Rescue! Arlo (and his brother Finn) are ready for adoption (separately!) Arlo is a mystery mutt. We guessed chi corgi at first, but they seem to have outgrown the chi part, we've considered Basenji, Shepherd, Min Pin, and more but the truth is we really don't know. 🤣 We think they will be medium sized (45ish pounds) but we're not making any promises at this point. Arlo is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. He's about 4.5 months old. Arlo has been raised with dogs of all sizes. He gets along with them all. He's very happy go lucky. He loves to play. Working on his housetraining but getting there. He does pretty well on leash and loves to go to Starbucks! Crate trained! They ignore the cats in the foster home and they should be fine with kids. Currently in foster in So Cal, can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $300 includes neuter, microchip, core vaccines, and free access to online training programs that we purchase. Please apply here to adopt:. Adoption Application We require an application before scheduling a meet and greet. Thank you!

Story
How this pet arrived: Gordo was brought in by his previous owner on October 6, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Gordo, a young pup with the most adorable short legs and the biggest heart! This shy guy is on a mission to find his perfect home. Gordo loves other dogs and insists on having a furry friend in the home to show him the ropes. Gordo takes his time to warm up to new people and environments, so he'll thrive best in a low-traffic home without young children (under 8). Gordo's world will need to be kept small at first while he adjusts and becomes comfortable with his new surroundings. Patience will be key and the best way to ensure his success in his new home. Once he comes out of his shell, he'll share his playful personality and offer you loyal companionship! If you're interested in providing Gordo the loving home he deserves, come visit him at our Oceanside Campus today. Don't forget to bring the entire household to meet him! Story
How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on October 17, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:This little trooper is Buzz! Buzz was brought to us after a run in with a coyote that left him in rough shape. But after lots of TLC, he's ready to find his new furever home. Buzz can be a little nervous at the vet's office so we strongly suggest finding a veterinarian that practices Fear Free techniques to make this little guy as comfortable as possible with any future visits. While Buzz has started to come out of his shell with familiar handlers in our care, he can be a little shy when first meeting new people. Because of that, if children are in the home they must be 8 years or older. Once Buzz is comfortable with you, he is a real love bug and will climb into your lap for endless kisses and snuggles. But don't be fooled, this cutie little snuggle bug has boundless energy and loves to zoom around the yard too! Come by today to meet Buzz and be sure to bring a leash and a collar when you do! Primary Color: Blonde Secondary Color: White Weight: 25.3 Age: 1yrs 1mths 0wks
