Queen Elizabeth was found behind AALOC, cowering under a car, afraid to come out. Luckily the AALOC team is amazingly skilled at gaining the trust of frightened animals and was able to convince Queen Elizabeth to allow them to help her. Multiple attempts were made to find her previous owners but no one claimed her, so Queen Elizabeth Is ready to start a new life with a new family. We believe Queen Elizabeth is a very young corgi mix. She was in foster care recently after being spayed and her foster called Queen Elizabeth “a real character” and “a lot of fun.” They said she likes to play with squeeky toys and will run after them when they are tossed. She’s a good walker and gets along with other small dogs. The photo of two dogs is Queen Elizabeth playing with Isabelle, her bestie at AALOC. She is both potty pad and crate trained. Her name is now Daisy She does have both eyes, the shelter thought she was missing one. But her other eye has cataracts we would like to save her eye if it can be saved. She's had her first bath, been to the vet, and loves to spend time in the yard. She has an ear infection and is on antibiotics. She will be going back to the vet for a follow-up. She is older than we were told and is a bit chunky. She's a great dog.
