How Oso arrived: Oso was brought in by his previous owner on December 6, 2025. Why Oso is the one for you:Oso is an energetic, active boy who's always ready for adventure. He does best with smaller dogs and would thrive in a home that can match his lively spirit. Oso is still working on his potty training, so he'll need someone patient and consistent to help him continue learning. He doesn't mind a bath and is fully crate trained, making downtime easy for him. Oso can get nervous at the vet, so a fear-free or low-stress clinic may be the best fit for his comfort. He's also sensitive to loud noises and benefits from a calm, reassuring environment. Oso has a bit of a not-wanting-to-share streak with toys and food, so he'll do best with someone who understands and respects canine boundaries. With the right family, we hope Oso will be a loyal, enthusiastic companion ready to bring lots of joy and energy into your life. At SDHS:Oso has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Chicky, a four-year-old neutered male Corgi-mix, was adopted in 2021 in Denver, Colorado, and is now looking for a new home where he can truly thrive. He’s a confident, active boy who does best with strong, consistent leadership—both from his humans and any canine companions. Chicky is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please. He’s already mastered several commands and tricks, and he absolutely loves staying active with walks, runs, and toy time! Chicky is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccinations, and currently weighs 26 lbs. Chicky can become nervous in situations where rules and expectations aren’t clear, and he’s developed some resource-guarding behavior around a specific person. With the right guidance and structure, Chicky has so much potential to be a loyal and loving companion. He would do best with experienced dog owners who can provide him with the calm, confident leadership he needs to feel secure. If you’re looking for a bright, active dog who’s ready to learn and bond deeply, Chicky might just be your guy! Jasmine and Thunder are adorable Corgi/Poodle mixes who are six years old. Although they don’t look alike, they are brother and sister. They are very bonded and must be adopted together. They are good with people and other dogs, but do not do well with cats. Thunder is a 30-pound male and is house-trained. He came to us with cataracts in both eyes, but now his surgery and treatment are complete. He is so happy to be able to see! Jasmine is a 25-pound female and is house-trained. She came to us needing orthopedic surgery in both back legs and hips. Surgery on one hip is complete, and the other hip will be done in the near future. We are so happy that she is no longer in pain. Jasmine and Thunder are white, good on a leash, up to date on vaccinations, and are affectionate, athletic, friendly, playful and smart. Having them in your home will enrich your life beyond mere words as you watch this sweet brother and sister learn the meaning of true love and finding a safe and loving home.
