Her name is now Daisy She does have both eyes, the shelter thought she was missing one. But her other eye has cataracts we would like to save her eye if it can be saved. She's had her first bath, been to the vet, and loves to spend time in the yard. She has an ear infection and is on antibiotics. She will be going back to the vet for a follow-up. She is older than we were told and is a bit chunky. She's a great dog. She will be available for adoption soon if you are interested in adopting please review our adoption process and complete our application at www.gunterslegacy.org/adopt If you can help with donations we would really appreciate your support. Story
Hope & Faith are littermates and were born in a park under a bush in Spring 2012. They have never been apart and must be adopted together. Hope is shy, while Faith is very outgoing. They were raised in a home with 2 boys, and had multiple pet siblings over the years (I used to do rescue work myself). I am disabled, so while they do love to go for walks, they do not need them daily. They are trained to use a doggy door to go outside for potties, are current on all shots, flea prevention, and microchipped. They will “ask” before hopping up on the sofa or a bed. They are the best girls!! Faith looooves belly rubs. My landlord decided to sell our home, and despite looking for 3 months, I could not find any place that allowed pets. Hope & Faith are currently being fostered by my ex-husband who warns me constantly that he wants them gone ASAP. Please consider giving these girls a loving home for their golden years, or buy me a house so I can! (Haha, that is a joke, sort of.)

Story
Meet our precious little hero Butterscotch. She is a Riverside Shelter survivor who was in danger for euthanasia due to having a seizure disorder. Butterscotch is a 1 year old Papillion/Corgi Mix and weighs about 12 lbs She’s a sweet girl with a beautiful smile and a beautiful spirit. She’s resilient and strong. We had her visit our vet for a thorough exam and testing. Good news is, they say there is a great possibility that she will grow out of her seizures (no guarantees). For the meantime, she has started treatment and they have been effective. She loves toys, she a social butterfly, she’s dog and cat friendly, she loves her walks, and enjoys time at the beach. She’s a happy girl with a beautiful spirit. She will bring her new family lots of love and joy. We are excited to help her find her new forever family. Adoption Interest applications are on our website www.jointhescars.org under “forms.”

Story
**About Leo:** Thank you for interested in adopting Leo. Please know that Leo is an international rescue through South Korea. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works.
Leo is curious and loves people. He gets along well with both adults and children.
He has great social skills and even gets along well with children at daycare. He stays calm when touched. He is curious and playful around other dogs. He is active and wants to be friends with them.
Leo likes children.
He gets along well with kids at the daycare playground and enjoys being touched and petted by them.
After playing, he snores while sleeping.
The children he lives with are 10 years old (male) and 13 years old (female).
Leo has a friendly nature, waits for the children to wake up, and tries to get their attention by throwing toys or seeking physical affection. He enjoys cuddling, such as resting his head on their feet or leaning against them. Leo plays well on his own, sometimes chews on things, but doesn’t bark or whine when left alone. He barks at unfamiliar people who come to the door.
No signs of possessiveness. He is curious and playful, actively engaging with other dogs to initiate play. Additional Information * Prefers meat over vegetables or fruits. * Likes the smell of hydrangea and nightshade trees. * Enjoys walking on grassy or leafy paths more than cement roads. * Although curious, he is cautious and careful. If you’re interested in adopting Leo, please don’t hesitate to contact us for more details. We’d be more than happy to help! Leo is still in South Korea. If you are interested in adopting Leo please go through our international adoption process. Leo is ready for his forever sweet home. Apply here https://lifeofhopefoundation.org/adoption-application/

Story
Queen Elizabeth was found behind AALOC, cowering under a car, afraid to come out. Luckily the AALOC team is amazingly skilled at gaining the trust of frightened animals and was able to convince Queen Elizabeth to allow them to help her. Multiple attempts were made to find her previous owners but no one claimed her, so Queen Elizabeth Is ready to start a new life with a new family. We believe Queen Elizabeth is a very young corgi mix. She was in foster care recently after being spayed and her foster called Queen Elizabeth “a real character” and “a lot of fun.” They said she likes to play with squeeky toys and will run after them when they are tossed. She’s a good walker and gets along with other small dogs. The photo of two dogs is Queen Elizabeth playing with Isabelle, her bestie at AALOC. She is both potty pad and crate trained. Please complete an application to adopt Queen Elizabeth at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet ‘Queen E’ and get to know her a bit. Adoption donation of $165 per dog includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.
