Story
Updated: 11/01/24 **Meet Kylee!** Age: Almost 2 years old (rescued at 3 1/2 months, and yes, she's still working on her puppy license!) Weight: A fabulous 43 lbs of pure joy and sass! Status: Partially incontinent (but she's been making huge strides in recovery-can hold it longer than your average toddler!) - **Background** Rescued just in time in early April 2023, Kylee was on the euthanasia list at a local kill shelter in Memphis, TN. Imagine the drama! She was unable to stand or walk due to injuries likely sustained from being hit by a car, but now she's ready for her Hollywood comeback! **Recovery Journey** Under close veterinary supervision, Kylee turned her life around and is now walking, running, and playing like the superstar she was born to be! Physical therapy? Check! Laser therapy? Double check! Acupuncture? You bet! She's got sciatic nerve damage that's probably here to stay, but this girl doesn't let anything slow her down! She wears washable diapers indoors-not because she's ashamed, but because she's saving the environment! And guess what? She can hold it longer than some humans-talk about impressive! **Perfect and Stunning** Kylee isn't just a sweet, outgoing dog; she's perfect and absolutely stunning! With a personality that sparkles brighter than a diamond, she's a total heartthrob. She loves to play with her foster doggy siblings and is child-friendly-her foster family's grandkids, aged 3 and 5, think she's the best playmate ever. Just be ready for some giggles, puppy mischief, and maybe a few surprise "gifts (thanks, washable diapers!). **A Special Home Needed** Our grateful, sweet Kylee will need a very special home-preferably one that appreciates her uniqueness. We know it won't be easy to find the perfect match, but we are committed to her until that family comes along. After all, she's worth every belly rub, playful bark, and heartwarming moment!
