Story
Thomas is an affectionate young dog who enjoys playtime, especially with a ball, and walks nicely on a leash. He is food-motivated, social with other dogs, and loves spending time with his people. In unfamiliar settings, Thomas can be more timid, taking time to observe and process before fully relaxing. Once he feels comfortable, his friendly, fun personality shines through. Thomas’s best fit: Thomas will do best with a family committed to helping a young dog gain confidence through thoughtful socialization. Gentle exposure to new environments, faces, and routines will be important as he continues to grow. He does well with other dogs and loves people of all ages. Due to a severe previous break, Thomas will soon have surgery to remove one of his hind legs. Because of his age, he will likely have no trouble recovering and living a normal life.

Story
Jasper is a sweet, smart young dog with a serious case of the zoomies. When he is happy, which is often, he takes off in joyful bursts of energy and then circles back for attention. He loves people and prefers to be right in the middle of whatever you are doing. If there are humans nearby, Jasper would like to be included. He does great with other dogs and has an affectionate, people-focused personality. We are still getting to know him and look forward to learning more as he settles in. Jasper’s best fit: Jasper will do best in a home that enjoys an engaged, social dog and can provide both playtime and structure. He thrives on attention and connection, so a family that has time to interact and include him in daily life will see him shine. His neuter is scheduled for March 12.
