Summers County Humane Society Meet Jasper. This happy boy is looking for a new home. He was seized by animal control from a neglect situation. Even with this not so happy beginning, he is loving his new life at the shelter getting love, attention and plenty of food from his caretakers. Jasper gets along with other dogs but we do not know what he thinks of cats. He is learning to walk on a leash and some basic commands. Please help Jasper find his loving forever home. Loves interacting with humans and getting pets and conversation. He is interested and friendly when meeting other dogs, He cannot be around cats. He walks very nicely on leash and loves to explore. Outdoor walks would be his jam. Scooby is affectionate and would be a warm couch companion. He knows “sit” and “paw” and listens well. He’s treat motivated so will learn your routine quickly. He likes to play and once going he’ll play with toys. Beau is a Boxer-Rottweiler mix with a small amount of American Pitbull. Beau was a short-term rescue from a shelter that was full and Beau was on the euthanasia list. Beau is an energetic dog that needs a lot of space to play. Beau thinks he is a small lap dog and enjoys cuddles. Beau does not do well with cats. Beau enjoys playing with other dogs. Beau enjoys children but has a hard time being gentle with them. Beau eats about four cups of food daily but food seeks often. Beau needs an experienced adopter with time on their hands. Overall, Beau is a wonderful, sweet dog who just needs some work.
