Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Feta is another one of our Greek dogs waiting for rescue. She has been in a shelter for over three years. She was found on the street with a metal rod sticking out of her leg. It seems she was probably hit by a car at some point and had a pin put in her broken leg, and it was either put in poorly or she got hit again and she was abandoned to the streets. She was taken to a vet to have that pin removed and her leg reset.
Due to the length of time she was on the street with the broken leg and bad pin, her leg never healed properly so she still has a limp. She is otherwise healthy and happy and ready to find a family to care for her and give her the love she deserves.
Feta is perfect with people (adults and kids), walks well on leash and she is also housebroken. She has been tested for leishmaniasis, ehrlichiosis, heart worm, anaplasmosis and babesiosis and is negative to all. She is spayed, treated for worms, ticks and fleas and and will receive all of her documentation for travel to the US if we can find her a home.
Feta is great with all dogs, very social and loves affection. She might chase cats outside the house, but is fine when indoors.
We must find a home for Feta by June 17 in order to rescue her.
