My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Donna is a very outgoing and playful pup. One of her favorite pastimes is playing with other dogs. She has the typical energy of a border collie and would love to have a job or an active family to channel all her energy and drive. Donna is completely house trained and crate trained. She is eager to please, very intelligent and a quick learner. Donna can also be very affectionate, loves attention and to be pet .

Donna would do best in a home with previous Border Collie experience who understand their need for mental and physical stimulation. If you enjoy activities and outings with your dog, Donna is the girl for you! She is extremely intelligent and would make a wonderful family dog and companion. She would also do well with a very active family or person who would incorporate her into their active lifestyle and exercise routine. Donna would make a great exercise or running partner once she is older, trained and knows what is expected of her. if you think Donna might be the right fit for you, please see below:

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs.  Therefore, we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org/forms as completely as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy, all volunteer staff. Donna's Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Proof of completion of obedience/puppy school is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
