My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is a very sweet and loving girl, despite her past where she was repeatedly abused by a group of kids, which is why we are suggesting a kid free home. She does take her time getting to know her surroundings and new people as she has trouble trusting new people. After the intial sniff give her time to relax before approaching her and you will see this girl shine!! She is very playful, even though she is a overweight currently she still loves her walks. She is great with other dogs and cats, and really loves to play!! We would love for her to find her forever home and we feel she would excel in a quiet home without kids running around because we have watched her get nervous in these situations. She may get better over time, but we would like for her to be as happy and comfortable as possible in her new environment!
