Blackjack | 1.5 Years | 58 lbs Hello there, my name is Blackjack! I was hand selected by K9s For Warriors in October of 2024 after I passed my initial test with flying colors! While I may not be suited to become a service dog due to some kennel stress and medical concerns, I am an affectionate and devoted companion, eager to bask in the love and attention you can provide. Although I’ve made some dog friends during my time at K9s, my medical needs have limited my playtime. Instead, I find joy in chewing on Nyla bones, cuddling with my stuffed toys, and snuggling with my favorite humans. I thrive on close connection and prefer being near my people rather than spending time in a crate or dealing with long separations. I'm a playful and loyal companion seeking a calm, loving environment where I can continue to relax and heal until my medical restrictions are lifted. If you are considering adopting Blackjack, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing from you and hope we can help find your new furever friend!
