Story
Mowgli and Akela are 2.5-year-old siblings who are looking for their forever home together. We will only adopt them out as a pair. These very handsome and friendly Oriental Shorthair brothers have big personalities and want to be at the center of their humans' lives. For this bonded pair we are looking for a cat-savvy family who has the time, knowledge and special interest to care for two amazing and lovely cats who might demand more attention than other house cats. Mowgli, the light brown mini lion, is a little shy, sensitive, and very loving. He likes to be held in one's arms, babied and reassured. He can be a picky eater. Akela, the gray, is super friendly, confident, playful and adventurous, and he likes to talk about it! He is cheerful and quite vocal. Like many Siamese breeds, both brothers are prone to eating plastic bags, especially when they feel bored or insecure. Their family must be vigilant in keeping soft, chewable plastic out of their reach. Mowgli and Akela would like a lot of interaction with their people. This is important for their emotional and physical well-being. They will reward you with their exceptional and loving companionship. Applicants must be experienced cat owners and live within reasonable driving distance of St.Johnsbury, VT. We will only process applications that are filled out completely and carefully.  Please note that Kingdom Animal Shelter is not a 'same day' adoption shelter. Please visit our website at http://www.kingdomanimalshelter.com/adopt-a-cat.html to learn about our adoption process.November 3, 2024, 4:17 pm
