Sushi (Oriental Mix Calico)Sushi has been let down before by the people she trusted the most. She was left outside to fend for herself and her litter of kittens when her previous owners moved apartments and left her behind. A good Samaritan saw how friendly she was and took her in while a rescue was found. Sushi was such a good mama that she even took on 4 new babies who had just lost their own mama. Now it's Sushi's turn to find her forever home where she can be loved and a part of the family. She is very sweet and loves attention, pats, chin scratches and treats! She's an independent girl and won't be needy for attention. She will happily curl up beside you or in her favourite cosy cat bed. She is learning about toys and how to play and so far enjoys the fishing pole toys and ball tracks. She loves to sit at the window and watch the birds. She has been around older children, other cats and dogs. She really isn't interested in getting to know the other pets yet and would prefer to hang out with her people. Meet gorgeous blue-eyed Rina! She was an owner surrender to TMHPR. She is a Lilac Siamese with cute white boots on her paws. She may have some Birman in her genes!  This hefty beauty comes from a rough past, but she has turned into the ultimate diva. With abundant patience from foster mom, she has gone from shying away from attention to lying in the middle of the room meowing for it. She still prefers cheek rubs to anything else, but she won't come to you for it - she'll tell you she wants it, then walk a few steps away to see if you'll follow. Once you're in reach, she'll lean into you as long as you'll pet her, and she'll even try grabbing your hand if you stop before she's ready - but since she's declawed, it's the gentlest grab you'll ever get. She has committed to a weight loss diet and exercise plan to help alleviate her arthiritis, and every day she feels more energetic and playful. She is not a fan of change - it took her three months with foster mom before she was willing to explore outside her initial room, and new people are a bit scary, but with regular exposure, she's grown to appreciate attention from the occasional visitor and to be curious about rooms foster mom doesn't want her in. She enjoys being groomed by her foster brother, which makes it easier for her to forgive him for pouncing on her. She tolerated a bit of construction in her home, but she's not happy with little humans making lots of noise and grabbing at her.  Rina will likely never be a lap cat, but she certainly enjoys companionship on her own terms. Given time to adjust, she will thrive in a low-key environment as an only cat or with another laid-back cat.Her estimated birth date is October 27, 2015.  Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##1861197##

Meet Siamese Sealpoint mix Lady Arabella. Rescued by a kind person when he found her hanging around with a litter of kittens not related to her. She had found some cat buddies while she was a stray looking for a hero to save her from the mean streets. She is currently in a loving foster home where she greets her foster mom each morning with cheerful cat conversation when her mom comes in to give her her breakfasr and do some playtime with her fave cat toy, the wand! This prety girl loves to be btushed and petted. Also enjoys watching the outdoors from a sunny window, very happy to be indoors and safe and loved. She is active and sweet and engaged in the goings-on in her foster home. We think she would do well as an only cat and also would be fine with a cat buddy after proper introductions. Buttercup, affectionately known as Butters, is a lovable butterball who will melt your heart faster than a pat of butter on a hot pancake.  This boy loves nothing more than curling up in your arms and taking long, luxurious naps. Imagine a living, purring teddy bear—yep, that's Butters for you.  Once you gain his trust he will turn into melted butter in your arms for hours! Butters is a delightful mix of cuddle monster and playful goofball. When he’s not busy defending his food from his siblings with the tenacity of a tiny lion, he’s zooming around the house like a furry little NASCAR driver. Watch out—his zoomies are legendary, and he takes corners like a pro!  Butters is looking for a home where he can show off his impressive snuggling skills and entertain you with his playful antics.
