Story
If you are interested, please contact Marilynne at 510-223-0443   Meet Herbie and her Aunt Winnie. This bonded pair of female kitties need a loving home.   They are extremely playful and do well with rabbit fur mousies, little balls, and interactive kitty toys.  Herbie, the kitten is fluffy,  light grey and has long soft hair.  She has tabby markings and will likely be very showy when mature.    The black Oriental style female kitty, Aunt Winnie has been spayed and current foster Mom will spay the kitten when she is old enough.    Aunt Winnie may be somewhat shy at first but she is extremely intelligent and will likely adapt quickly to a new environment.  She was spayed thinking she was feral and has a barely perceptible right ear tip.  She turned out to be very tame and loving.    If you are interested in learning more about Herbie & Aunt Winnie, please contact Marilynne at 510-223-0443 November 6, 2024, 11:52 pm

Story
Meet PJ and Skeeter! PJ, a four-year-old orange tabby, and Skeeter, a three-year-old gray Siamese, are a loving, bonded pair looking for a new home together. Their guardians are moving to an assisted living facility, so PJ and Skeeter need a family to welcome them with open arms. PJ is a classic tabby with a sweet, gentle demeanor. He loves to relax and watch the world go by, often curling up with Skeeter by his side. Skeeter, the more playful of the two, adores batting around small stuffed mice, chasing string, and pouncing on tiny balls. She’s an affectionate, curious cat who often nudges PJ to join in her fun. These two are inseparable, providing comfort and companionship to each other and, soon, to their new family. They’re looking for a peaceful home where they can stay together and continue to share their love and gentle nature. PJ and Skeeter are being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet these cats or find out more, please fill out our application here: https://www.thedancingcat.org/adopt-courtesy For more information regarding our Courtesy Posts, see www.thedancingcat.org/courtesy-postsNovember 7, 2024, 10:58 pm

Story
We were feeding a new colony of community cats that we had inherited, most of them living under a dilapidated building, when we saw these two little faces peeking out. Knowing that this was not a good place for little kittens to grow up, we caught them (it took some doing!), and brought them home. In the weeks that followed these two young boys, Piper and Hart, have gradually changed from scared little wild things into two sweet cuddly silly bugs. They are a joy to be around! They love to cuddle with us (Hart especially), and each other. Piper is still on the shy side, but in the moments when he musters up the courage to snuggle with one of us it makes our day. Forget Netflix and HBO - watching these two little boys play for hours on end is the best entertainment you could hope for. We are neutered, tested Negative for fiv/fiv. Vaccinated and Micro chipped. Birthday approx 6/21. They are a bonded pair and need to go together. Hart is the Siamese mix Male DSh B Date 6/21 Piper is the Orange Tabby/White Male DSH B Date 6/21

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Companion ExtraordinaireSay hello to Grape, the inquisitive and clever Siamese cat, always ready to charm you with his friendly and playful nature. He's always up for a play session with the occasional burst of zoomies. He is quite the chatterbox, expressing his thoughts with a meow or two. He's a master at climbing to the highest spots and sneaking into the tiniest corners of the room. Plus, he's litterbox-trained and has a hearty appetite. Grape has spent most of his time indoors, but he's itching to satisfy his curiosity and explore the outdoors. He would thrive well at a home with plenty of space to roam, maybe even a backyard for his adventures. He's a curious cat who enjoys both indoor and outdoor exploration. You'll often catch him lounging by a window, keeping tabs on the world outside.   Grape likes being the sole furball at home, but with a bit of patience, he has the potential to warm up to other cats and dogs for some furry companionship. He's got that perfect mix of friendliness and shyness, with a dash of independence thrown in. Sometimes, he'll cozy up for cuddles on his own terms. But when he's not in the mood for pets, he'll kindly let you know with gentle warnings. He's fine with a quick pick-up session, but he might start to get a bit fussy if it lasts too long. Given his playful nature, he'd thrive best in a home without young children.   Bonus quirks: he's one smart cat! He's mastered the art of sitting on command (when presented with treats, ha!), and he's also a bit of a sneaky expert when it comes to opening doors.   Coat: Short hair, grey and black fur Health: Fully vaccinated (NOBIVAC), no health issues (medical records available upon request) Weight: 11lbs Status: Neutered and microchipped   To meet Grape contact:  Email: chloetanchip@gmail.com Location: San Francisco, CA THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal.
