Story
If you are interested, please contact Marilynne at 510-223-0443   Meet Herbie and her Aunt Winnie. This bonded pair of female kitties need a loving home.   They are extremely playful and do well with rabbit fur mousies, little balls, and interactive kitty toys.  Herbie, the kitten is fluffy,  light grey and has long soft hair.  She has tabby markings and will likely be very showy when mature.    The black Oriental style female kitty, Aunt Winnie has been spayed and current foster Mom will spay the kitten when she is old enough.    Aunt Winnie may be somewhat shy at first but she is extremely intelligent and will likely adapt quickly to a new environment.  She was spayed thinking she was feral and has a barely perceptible right ear tip.  She turned out to be very tame and loving.    If you are interested in learning more about Herbie & Aunt Winnie, please contact Marilynne at 510-223-0443 October 28, 2024, 6:06 pm

Story
Hi! We're Cadbury and Hershey! We were rescued in Doha, Qatar . We were rescued from a colony where a caring human was feeding us and other kitties. She fell in love with us and knew we needed to get off the streets and into a safe and loving home so she took us to a sanctuary where we flourished and showed just how pawsome we are. Then we went to a doctor to be vetted and that’s when they found out we’re FIV+. Unfortunately humans in Qatar think differently about FIV+ cats than they do here in the US. Even knowing how amazing we are, our rescuers knew it would be difficult finding a home there and they worried we might end up back on the streets if in the wrong human hands. We’re extremely handsome, super sweet, very loving and generally calm kitties, although we do have a playful side too! When we first arrived we immediately came out of our carriers to check out things and say hello. I was a tad bit nervous when I first came out of my carrier but after exploring the room a few times, I began asking for pets. After we had a chance to stretch our legs after our long flight and receive some love, it was time to head to our foster home! Yay! We were excited to greet our foster human and check out our foster home when we got here. We settled in nicely and now we’re having such a great time playing, receiving lots of attention, and finally being able to relax and not worry about the dangers and uncertainties we faced when we lived on the streets. This indoor lifestyle is incredible! We get to play chase and tag, eat lots of yummy food and relax with our human. I like to sit by our human’s feet while Hershey likes the higher spots so it works out purrfectly for everyone. And while we both love receiving attention, especially in the morning, we never compete for it. We’re looking for a home together, preferably with a multi-human family so we can receive extra love and attention. We traveled a long way to find our forever home and are so excited to finally have a family to share our love! You can see more of us in our foster home here @returnoftheyeti. Concerned about me being FIV+? There's lots of informative reading material online to free you of any worries. I can live a long healthy life and safely with other cats, meow. Story
Hi! We’re Ashley and Slippers, an energetic pair of bonded siblings searching for our forever home. We enjoy doing everything together - from racing up and down our cat tree to observing birds and wildlife in action from our window. When we’re ready to wind down, we stretch out on the bed or cuddle up inside our cozy cave to nap and recharge. We love playing with our foster mom and our favorite games are anything that involves leaping up into the air to catch the feather wand toy! We’re dreaming of our ideal forever home with someone who spends time at home hanging out and playing with us. Our foster home has resident cats who have been welcoming and curious while we explore. After exploring, we always run back to our foster room for playtime.  We’ll thrive in a relaxed environment with routines and a balance of interactive playtime, relaxation to recharge, and some independence to explore our new furever home. I’m a stunning Siamese Snowshoe Chocolate Point mix with a cream body and socks and a chocolate brown tail and face that frames my gorgeous aqua blue eyes. I’m a sweetheart and I love affection, like to talk, and love ear rubs, head rubs and back rubs!  All our foster mom needs to do is lay her palm out and I rest my head in it for rubs. Get this, I even like my front toes to be gently touched!  I don’t know if I’m a lap cat yet, but I’ve grown to love stretching out on the couch or bed next to our foster mom after play time. I now allow her to pick me up and am getting more and more comfortable with it. I have lots of fun running, jumping, and rolling around with my sister, Ashley. Our foster mom opens up our room so we get to explore the whole house, socialize with the resident kitties, and we’re mesmerized by watching the animal kingdom in action on TV. You can see more of us in our foster home. Just click here @ashley_and_slippers to go to our Instagram account.
