Say hello to Archie! Archie is a 3-year-old English Bulldog who came to us an owner surrender as his owner was not able to care for him. Prior to coming to us, he lived much of his life in a crate where he was not well socialized or cared for. Archie has made huge strides since going into his foster home and we have found that he forms a deep and loving bond with his person, and we think he would do best in a home with one owner. He is looking for a confident, experienced owner who will spend time to help him reach his full potential. Archie is happy with other dogs, and would do fine with other dogs in the home but is best suited to a home without children and without a lot of foot traffic. He does well in a crate, and he is also house broken. Archie has quite the personality and loves to go for a ride in the car. FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bean! Bean is a 3-year-old, 60 lb Staffy/Bulldog mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome guy is the total package ~ sweet, social, and full of love to give! Bean is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling up on the couch with his people. He’s house-trained, well-mannered in the home, and truly thrives on being part of the family. He’s a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and getting out and about ~ he just wants to be included in the action! He does great with other dogs and will need another dog in the home as a playmate and companion. Bean loves to play and can be a bit rough and rowdy, so he’ll do best with a dog who can match his play style and energy. Bean is a strong boy and is still working on his leash manners, so he’ll need a confident handler who can manage his strength and continue his training. He’s very eager to engage and loves being out in the world, so continued socialization and structure will be important for him. Delilah is a very loving girl and is gentle with her people. She does well with other dogs and would do fine with another dog in the home, or would be great by herself soaking up all of the love and attention! She will require a very strong handler that can handle her strength as she pulls when walking on leash. Please meet Forrest! This sweet pup is estimated to be about 10 months old. At a young age, he was abandoned in a park. We don’t know what happened to his mom or if he and his brother were the only ones to survive, but Forrest is resilient with a heart full of joy. Forrest is a happy and playful boy who’s adjusting well to life in a home. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and people. He lives in a foster home with cats but he gets very excited wanting to play when he sees them so he accidentally scares the cats. Animal Profile:  Penny is a 2 1/2 year old, 65 lb spayed female English Bulldog mix. She has a tight, clean coat and an adorable under bite. She has guardian-breed tendencies and will need a breed-savvy owner who's able to provide appropriate leadership. She is loyal to her family and loves to snuggle. Her absolute favorite joy in life is Ball! She enjoys playing with other dogs but requires a human who can supervise and advocate for appropriate interactions or she is prone to bullying behavior. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs and is crate-trained, house-trained, and has basic obedience training. She will benefit from structure, leadership, and ongoing training. Penny was born on 12/09/22; one of the littermates was  DNA tested and so presumably all littermates are  75% English Bulldog, 12.5% German Shepherd, 12.5% Rhodesian Ridgeback. As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. Primrose, Princeton and Percival's mom was abandoned at a home when her previous owners moved out. She was left out on a chain to fend for herself. Luckily the neighbors realized she had been left behind and took her in. She was in horrible physical condition and pregnant by to neighborhood stray (a black lab) that would jump the fence when she was in heat. It was reported by the neighbors that these 2 had had multiple litters together but none of the puppies ever survived. The neighbors children fell in love with mom and they are keeping her but needed help rehoming her very last litter (we assisted in getting her spayed). These pups are the most laid back and chill group I have ever seen.

Priscilla, aka Prissy, is a friendly, 3-year-old Boston Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a wiggle that never quits! Weighing in at 35 pounds, she is just the right size for snuggles and strolls, She’s friendly with people and loves making new friends—whether two-legged or four! Priscilla (aka Prissy) enjoys daily walks, squeaky toys, and curling up beside you after a fun day. Priscilla is recovering from an ear infection, so we are currently looking for a foster home who can support her during this time.
