My name is Lazlo. Yes, like a gentleman. No, I do not stand when you enter the room. I remain where I am and acknowledge you with my eyes. I'm an English Bulldog, which means I'm compact, wrinkly, and emotionally attached to comfortable furniture. I have a face that looks serious, but I am actually very sweet and deeply interested in snacks, naps, and being near my people at all times. Sometimes on them. I enjoy short walks where I can stop and think about my life choices, followed by long naps where I forget them completely. I am affectionate, loyal, and excellent at leaning my full body weight against you to show love. This is not optional. I do snore occasionally. Loudly. This is not a medical issue. This is ambiance. I'm currently fostering while I search for a forever home with humans who understand that I'm low-energy, high-character, and happiest when included in daily life, preferably on the couch. I don't need much. Just love, patience, and the occasional treat to remind me I'm perfect. If you're looking for a calm, funny, sturdy companion with a big heart and a very expressive face, I'm Lazlo. I'll be right here. Probably asleep. I do well with older children. We are still assessing how I am with other dogs and cats. We'll update you as soon as we know more. I need to be neutered and have my cherry eyes corrected, before I'll be ready for adoption.

She absolutely lives up to her name-in the most endearing way possible. Dopey is goofy, joyful, and full of love, with no concept of personal space whatsoever. If she can be touching you, she will be. Cuddling close is her specialty. Dopey loves to play and keeps herself in constant motion with happy wiggles and playful energy. She is very food- and treat-motivated, knows basic commands, and is eager to please. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has shown zero signs of aggression, even when other dogs try to provoke her. She has not met cats yet, but based on her personality, she would likely try to play with them. She is crate trained and does well sleeping in her crate or in bed with her people. When first left alone, she may whine briefly, but she settles quickly and relaxes. Dopey also does great during the workday and is able to calm down and nap while her humans work from home. Dopey would likely do very well in a home with children thanks to her loving and playful nature. That said, she does get excited and could accidentally knock over very small children. She is about 90% potty trained and is trying very hard to reach 100%. Occasional accidents still happen if she isn't let out in time, but she continues to improve. Dopey is a happy, affectionate, and playful young bulldog who will bring nonstop love, laughter, and cuddles into her forever home.

This darling 4-year-old English Bulldog is looking for her forever kingdom where she can be the one and only furry queen (yes, she prefers to keep all the belly rubs and treats to herself - can you blame her?). This girl is new to our rescue and we are still getting to know her; so far she has been very friendly and sweet in her foster home with two adults. Winni Mae is a professional nap enthusiast, toy connoisseur, and will always say YES to a walk. Rain or shine, she'll be the first one waiting by the door when it's time for an adventure. Speaking of adventures, her favorite indoor expedition is following her humans from room to room - she's basically your wiggle-butt shadow! When she's not showing off her impressive toy collection or patrolling the neighborhood on her walks, you'll find this squishy-faced sweetheart snuggled up on the sofa or sleeping soundly in her bed next to her humans. Winni Mae also has a few tricks up her sleeve (sit, stay, re-call) and will politely ask for chin scritches. You won't need a doorbell any longer, as Winni Mae will graciously BORK BORK to notify you anytime someone has approached your front door. Winni Mae is searching for a loving home where she can be the center of attention, shower her family with endless affection, and live her best life as the cherished fur-baby she was born to be.
