Meet Dora: Part explorer, part couch potato!Dora is an approximately 5 year old terrier mix who enjoys running around in the yard - *almost* as much as she enjoys running into your arms and falling asleep. She can go from zoomies to couch-rot in 30 seconds flat, and is therefore looking for a home as well-rounded as she is! Dora enjoys playing with toys and other pups, but don't let her playful demeanor fool you - she's on 24/7 squirrel patrol. Dora is crate-trained, housebroken, good with other dogs, and will sing for her supper (aka, barks at mealtime). Due to her terrier tendency to chase critters, her adopter must have a strongly reinforced, escape proof fenced yard. Dora is not only an Explorer, but a great student who will do well with a family that wants to continue learning and training with her. Her adoption fee is $300, and AARF's adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like her for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they've already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They've been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on age-appropriate immunizations against rabies and DHLPP (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). They've been tested for heartworm and other tick borne diseases (4DX), and they've started our heartworm and flea preventive medications. Some of them have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of them entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Howdy! Brianna here and I wanted to say hi! I am a young lady from the state of Texas. You know what they say, everything is bigger in Texas. Especially when it comes to my personality, my heart and the love I have to give. I was found lost on the streets of Leon Valley. I don't remember much because I was all alone and scared. Then next thing you know I got scooped up by some loving hoomans and introduced to a hooman that everyone referred to as foster. I have 4 foster brothers and a sister who have welcomed me in with open paws. They are all big dogs 2 are senior dogs and the other 2 are around 2 years old. We all get a long really well. I am a lot of fun but I do respect my elders. I love cuddling with my foster hooman. He is pretty fun to hang out with. My favorite thing to do with him is every time I sit or come when he calls me I get a tasty treat. I picked up on it really quick. I sure do love treats. What I would love is my very own family. I would be a great companion pup, family pup, I can be the only pup and I can be a welcome addition to an existing pack. I get along with everyone. I am just wanting a chance to give you all the love I have in my heart and I am hoping to receive the same from you.
