Story
Meet Bill D, a sweet and energetic Australian Shepherd mix who's looking for a special home! He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play, but he can still be a little nervous at times. When startled, he may try to dash away, so he'll need a secure, loving environment where he can feel safe. He would do best in a home with kids aged 14 and up, as he can get jumpy and a bit mouthy when excited. But once he feels comfortable, he absolutely loves being pet and will wiggle with excitement! He's full of potential and ready for a patient family to help him flourish.

Dozer is also incredibly sweet and affectionate, using his little voice to let you know when he's ready to snuggle back in bed after playtime. This handsome pup has a tiny white tip on his tail, one white toe, and a small white stripe down his chest—unique markings to match his unique personality. If you're interested in welcoming this adorable pup into your family, please review our "Foster to Forever" Puppy Adoption Program. Please note that applicants must reside in Albany County to be considered for this program. For more details, visit:    Foster to Forever Program    Hello, my name is Maggie, but sometimes I go by Little Miss Maggie, Maggie Mae, or Snuggle Bug! I’m an energetic and affectionate pup who loves to be outside, running and playing with toys and other dogs. I also enjoy snuggling and being at the heart of all the action, especially when there are kids around. While I like being inside, the outdoors is where I truly shine, and I think I’d make a fantastic running or adventure companion. I’ve briefly met cats and think I’d probably get along with them just fine. I’m doing pretty well with potty training, though I still need a few reminders to go outside. I’m also working on walking on a leash, but right now, I’d rather chew on it than actually walk! Afternoon naps are a must to recharge, and I sleep soundly through the night in my kennel. Meeting new people and going on fun adventures is always exciting for me, and I’d love to be part of your family. If you're looking for an adventurous, snuggly companion who makes friends easily, I just might be the perfect match for you. I can’t wait to share all the love in my heart with you! Maggie came to us from the Wind River Reservation, and her breed mix is our best guess based on her adorable looks. Story
We call this gorgeous gal of the Thanksgiving Litter "Mashed Potato." She's as soft as a good whipped mashed potato, with long collie hair and longer legs. She's got a collie nose, too. A dog or kid sibling for her to play with is ideal. But after settling in here, she's become quite a snuggler, too. She's learning to sit and will now sit for treats and sit next to me to be picked up. She's inquisitive and loves to explore the backyard. She may make a good hiking buddy. She's had a bath, feet shave and belly shave and she did fine. She likes to give good hugs, as well. She is spayed and ready for her new home. Her hair is long and will need regular grooming. I put her weight and age into Puppy Calculator and she came out predicting to be 65-75 lbs!! She's going to need a yard and room to roam. She's smart and easily trainable. She is food motivated and is always eager to please us.

Story
Buzz is a sweet, older boy looking for a forever home. He has some medical concerns that require attention, but he still has a lot of love to give. He has lived with cats before, so he’s comfortable with them. His new family should be patient and willing to work with him. If you have experience with dogs who need a bit of extra care and you're looking for a loyal companion, Buzz may be the perfect match for you! we recommend he go to a home with older kids 15yrs or older, and be the only couch potato in the home.
