Hi there! I'm Queenie, your future best friend. I'm a bundle of energy and love to play. Fetch? Absolutely! Hide and seek? Count me in! I'm also quite the sweetheart, always ready to share a smile or a gentle nuzzle. My curious nature means I'm always ready for a new adventure, as long as it doesn't involve open vehicles - they're just not my thing. I'm a bit of a goofball too, my antics are sure to keep you laughing. And when it's time to wind down, I'm all about the cuddles and belly rubs. I'm smart, too. I know all the basic commands and am always eager to learn more. Adopting me means gaining a loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining companion. Let's make some memories together! For more information, contact the City/County Animal Shelter at (307) 686-5249.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Important Notice:     This puppy is available through our Foster to Forever Program! If you're interested in welcoming this adorable pup into your family, please review our "Foster to Forever" Puppy Adoption Program. Please note that applicants must reside in Albany County to be considered for this program. For more details, visit:    Foster to Forever Program    Hello, my name is Maggie, but sometimes I go by Little Miss Maggie, Maggie Mae, or Snuggle Bug! I’m an energetic and affectionate pup who loves to be outside, running and playing with toys and other dogs. I also enjoy snuggling and being at the heart of all the action, especially when there are kids around. While I like being inside, the outdoors is where I truly shine, and I think I’d make a fantastic running or adventure companion. I’ve briefly met cats and think I’d probably get along with them just fine. I’m doing pretty well with potty training, though I still need a few reminders to go outside. I’m also working on walking on a leash, but right now, I’d rather chew on it than actually walk! Afternoon naps are a must to recharge, and I sleep soundly through the night in my kennel. Meeting new people and going on fun adventures is always exciting for me, and I’d love to be part of your family. If you're looking for an adventurous, snuggly companion who makes friends easily, I just might be the perfect match for you. I can’t wait to share all the love in my heart with you! Maggie came to us from the Wind River Reservation, and her breed mix is our best guess based on her adorable looks. Her estimated birthdate is August 31, 2024.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.    **Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. Story
Don't let this girl's size fool you, she is packed with a lot of eternal rage! Well okay, whatever her tiny little body can hold, but she is still a spitfire! She has a lot of pent up energy and seems to have the brain capacity of a goldfish. Meaning she gets distracted very easily and can bounce off the walls from all the excitement she has! She is still a puppy so some basic training, as well as house training, will benefit this small bean immensely. We have also seemed to notice she doesn't get comfortable around people as quickly as you'd think. She is very reserved and likes to build a relationship with people before just diving into liking them! Socializing will be another big thing this gal could use as it will help show her people aren't as scary as they seem! So if this fun sized gal sounds like your new friend, and you got some time on your hands, come meet Freckles today!
