If I could have the perfect day, it would involve a casual stroll with you, overseeing meal prep in the kitchen, and then curling up at your feet. I’m the perfect little shadow! Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. PAINT BALL is part of a litter of 6. DOB 8/16/24. She is female and the largest of the group... 14#s. We believe she is a Shepherd mix ... and we know her mom is an Australian Shepherd mix but only 20#. We don't know who Daddy is. We suspect that PAINT BALL will get to 25#s... best guess. PAINT BALL is energetic, lovable, and wants to please. She will be a great dog for a family or active couple. The foster who took in the VERY pregnant Mom raised the puppies in her house with the help of her 3 grandchildren. They are very socialized and lots of fun. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. Story
`Sweet, funny Addy is a delightful dog with impeccable manners.A 5-year-old tricolor Board Collie mix, she`s playful, loves to ride in the car (does great on public transportation), but is also always ready to cuddle. She still gets excited when going for a walk, so will pull in her harness, but she is learning to walk more sedately. She sits, shakes, gets her ball and fetches her frisbee. She will bump your forearm when she wants attention. She`s house-broken, courteous with other dogs and with people. We have not been around cats, but as she is a bunny-chaser.She`s a great watchdog, dutifully alerting you to a visitor: but not an incessant barker. She`s okay when left alone, although being a social dog, she would much prefer to go with you. If left alone, she behaves, retiring to her `dog-fort` for a snooze under the computer desk. She loves to be brushed and groomed: her short hair is easy to maintain.Addy is a wanderer, so would do best in a fenced yard. Any open gates or doors are an invitation to explore the world, although she comes back, albeit, on her own terms. Addy is also a resource guarder with her food. She should not live with small children or smaller animals: and if other larger dogs, she will need to be monitored during feeding time.` - Addy`s foster parent

Story
This is Ziggy. He’s a mix breed (border collie type) sweetheart. He is under 2 years old, potty trained, and great with animals and kiddos. He has a very gentle demeanor but loves playtime outside. Unfortunately, we cannot keep Ziggy due to new family health reasons. He has been spending too much time in his kennel because of this, and it is unfair to him. He is crate trained and never makes a peep, but he would much rather be snuggled up with people. He is the most easy going doggo that deserves all the love & attention. I am not looking for a rehoming fee, just the right family. He will come with his kennel.

Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. The fee includes adoption fee and transportation fee.
