Story
Here's what you need to know about me:I recently became a TRIPOD! That means I only have three legs, my front left leg was injured beyond repair when I arrived at the shelter. My friends at the shelter can tell you more about my medical condition and how to take care of me.I'm friendly and affectionate with people, and pretty easy going, too! Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 37 Age: 4yrs 2mths 1wks

Story
My uncle took in Pepper from someone who abandoned her. Given his chronic pain & low monthly budget, she needs rehoming. She has some accidents in the home, this would be curbed w/ training & regular walks. We have found that she has seizures at night. The seizures don't seem life threatening, but are disorienting. She has never been formally diagnosed & was in-heat last week. Pepper can be aloof & likes to settle down for long naps on a made bed. She is like a cat that wants to lay in the sun. She doesn't seem to know how to play with toys. She can be around other dogs, but it's hard to read if she enjoys playing with them. She is definitely fine w/ low energy dogs. She seems scared of big dogs while on walks. Pepper is a sweetie for sure. She enjoys pets. Her favorite thing is to be talked to sweetly while receiving pets. Pepper has responded positively to calm, patient, attentive care. Overall, to thrive she just needs a loving home & to be cared for with patience & kindness.

Story
Scooby’s original name was Chance. He was born 9/18/2017 and was surrendered by his original owners on 8/19/2018 due to aggression toward other animals. I adopted Scooby on 8/23/2018 after building a new house and he was an only dog for several years. He loves people and is very loyal. He’s never been aggressive toward people, but I’ve rehomed 2 other dogs after trying to find him a sidekick. For whatever reason he just doesn’t get along with other animals. He loves to run and play.

Story
Ivy Bloom is her name, she loves the beach and bodies of water and playing fetch is her favorite game! This girl is literally a big cotton ball- floof and fun and full of energy. She loves going on walks, hiking, and especially loves running with other dogs in big, open fields. At the end of the day she often falls asleep with a stuffed toy tucked gently in her mouth- one of her foster’s favorite endearing quirks. See her floof on the beach here then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/on6N_tC0o0A At just 2 years old and 30 lbs, we believe Ivy Bloom is a mini Aussie mix. She is a rescue though so no guarantees with breed and birthday- not a guess but an educated observation. As soon as I saw her I knew I was going to adore her, you can just see her bright spirit. Her foster believes she is deaf and we can see some of the markers of this being the case but it truly was such an afterthought to all of us- we wouldn’t have known because of how in-tune and attentive she is. Just one of many things that make her specia! Plus, she is already learning sign language and her foster shared that Ivy is a fast learner. Her foster says, *“She is a very smart dog. Loves a job! And is a classic Aussie.” Plus she is both house and crate trained. Ivy has lived with a wide variety of dogs and has even lived with cats, all of whom she got along with perfectly. She enjoys having a playmate and that does not stop at dogs, she will invite you to play, and she will invite the cat to play. Her approach is playful curiosity, harmless but not every cats type, so a confident, dog-savvy cat would be the best fit for her. She has a social side and is very affectionate with people. The trick to this out-and-about or when you have guests is to let the hello’s be on her terms. When guests come over, she does bark a hello their way before then running over to greet them. We love a discerning girl! Ivy is happiest when she gets regular exercise and socialization and thrives on routine, companionship, and simply being included. She has the basics of leash walking skills but will benefit from continued practice using the tools she has grown to know, and the chance to experience a variety of places with a confident handler by her side to help keep her grounded in a sense of security. This girl is young, vibrant, and a devoted companion who will be a beautiful addition to a variety of homes. Whether you have a dog or she will be your one and only, she will remind you daily of how much our heart needs the simple companionship of an adoring dog. She’s ready and waiting for her forever home with a family that sees her not for what she lacks, but for the amazing, loving dog she already is. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
