Sweet, silly, Gage was not given much care in his previous life. He came to us underweight, with a lot of hair loss and teeth badly damaged. Since being rescued he is filling out nicely, had a dental and his hair is growing back well. He is a cutie! Gage has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He is feeling soo much better. He is ready for his forever home. Approx 2years old, 36lbs. Gage is crate trained, potty trained and good with confident dogs on a case by case basis. cats not recommended since he is a herding breed. Gage loves to play fetch and would love to have a big backyard. Very trainable. Would likely do well in dog sports. He also loves a full body cuddle on the couch. Jorah is an Australian Shepherd, roughly 40 pounds. Jorah is a very sweet boy with A LOT of anxiety. I got Jorah when he was a puppy and have done extensive training with him to help with his anxiety since he can be very reactive. He requires very slow and intentional introductions to new people and can be reactive towards other dogs. Jorah does well with routine, structure, and does great with training. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to care for Jorah in the way he needs and truly deserves. I was attacked by a friend's dog in 2024 and it was an incredibly traumatic experience for me, so much that it has impacted my ability to feel comfortable with Jorah. Since 2024, I have since separated from my husband and I am now the only adult in my home to care for Jorah. I am also a single mother to a four year old, so I am extremely limited in my current capacity. I would love for Jorah to have a home where someone has the patience and love to give him exercise and consistency.

Quarry is one of five young Aussie pups we rescued from a puppy mill situation in Eastern WA. Like the others, he suffered porcupine quill injuries—but his were the worst we’ve ever seen. This poor boy even had quills down his throat. When we found him, Quarry was starving, in pain, and desperately pawing at his face to try to escape the agony. It broke our hearts. The good news? He’s been to the vet, the quills are gone, and he’s on the road to recovery. At the rescue kennel, he’s started taking food from our hands (pill pockets are his favorite!). But Quarry is still very shy—understandable after the trauma he’s endured. Now we need your help. Animal Information: Bianca and Bernard were born on 11/19/2025 and came to a Bakersfield, California shelter with their mom, dad, and littermates. The whole family caught a freedom ride to Washington, where our rescue partner reached out for help placing some of the puppies. Mom and Dad are beautiful, purebred Australian Shepherds (photo 2 & 3) with wonderful temperaments and engaging personalities. Bernie and Bianca are already showing the intelligence and drive typical of their breed. These pups will thrive in active homes, ideally with adopters who have herding breed experience (or a strong interest in learning) and a commitment to training, mental stimulation, and enrichment. With the right guidance, they’ll make incredible companions. Foster Profile: Next on your dance card is Bianca. She is only 11 weeks old and 5.5 lbs but what she is missing in size she makes up for in grit, love and determination. Her favorite pass time is playing with my resident Cleo. She seems to understand it's good to potty outside but potty training is a work in progress. We have greatly reduced accidents with scheduled potty breaks. We are also working on kennel training. She does great at night with a cover over the crate sleeps through the night, but needs work on being in her crate during the day. It's getting better with patience. She loves snuggle time, and I make sure to give her an hour every night before crate time. She is oure love, pure energy and pure aussie. Smart and eager to learn. Definitely a keeper.
