Story
Ru is a tri-pawd mini American Sheppard and Australian Sheppard mix. She has been with us for the last 6 years, since she was a puppy and is a part of our family. She is very loving, loyal, and always up for an adventure A year ago, Ru lost her leg due to a freak accident that required amputation. She has recovered fully and loves playing frisbee and ball. She has no clue she used to have 4 legs! Also a year ago, her humans had a baby. The combination of these two things has made Ru a little more anxious - if you know aussies, they are high anxiety dogs as it is - and we just feel we aren’t giving her the attention or life she deserves. Ru would be best suited for a household that has no other dogs (cats are fine) and the family has a lot of time for walks, cuddles, and play. She does well with children, and with all humans in general. She does not get along with other dogs.

Story
Ren is a 1 year old, likely mini Aussie/spaniel mix and is just a gorgeous small-medium boy at just 29 lbs. Ren started out with us so very quiet and sweet, and learning to trust this big new world! Ren was surrendered to the rescue and his life was quite limited, very small and not much exposure up until now. Ren is now learning about living in a home, with a safe yard for playtime, good healthy food and how good life as a regular family member can feel. Ren has now had time to decompress and is really opening up - he has shown a lot of affection and kisses now, seeks out his foster mom for affirmation that he is doing well or if something makes him nervous. And, he has proven to be quite a ball dog and will drop or toss the ball back to you for even more fun! Ren is wired to be an athlete and truly enjoys chasing his ball and stretching his legs! He would do well with an active owner who understands the herding breeds need to move and get appropriate mental stimulation. While loving and gentle, this boy is not simply a couch potato! While Ren is doing well now he's had time to adjust to his current foster home, he will still need a person or family who will give him the time to decompress and realize he is safe when adopted- people that make him feel safe! Ren is completely potty pad trained, but will go when outside as well. Simply, he has just spent a lot of time up to now alone with no other potty options. All that has now changed for the better and Ren is looking for his life partner to see how really wonderful life is here in the PNW. Due to his breed and his tendency to run from scary things in this big new world, Ren will be adopted to someone with a fully fenced secure yard of at least 6' in height. Ren is vaccinated and Microchipped and is now neutered included in his adoption donation.

He’s the kind of dog who’s just happy to be included, and he’s ready to be someone’s loyal companion for life. Trooper is housetrained and crate trained, making him an easy addition to just about any home. He’s friendly with everyone he meets—both humans and other dogs—and carries himself with a positive and playful energy that makes him a joy to have around. He’s also highly intelligent and very treat-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Whether you’re reinforcing the basics or teaching him something new, Trooper is eager to learn and loves having a job to do. On leash, he’s a pleasure—walks well and enjoys getting out and about whether that’s a neighborhood stroll, a coffee run, or a weekend outing. He truly thrives when he’s by your side, taking in the world with you. Trooper is more than just a good dog—he’s a steady, loving presence who will fit beautifully into someone’s life. If you’re looking for a companion who’s well-mannered, social, and always ready to join you wherever you go, Trooper is your guy.

Story
My dog’s name is Luna, she’s 7 years old. She’s a very smart, loving and energetic dog. Loves toys, playing fetch & cuddling. She’s understands most commands. She’s currently learning to not bark on walks. I’m looking for someone to give her the utmost care she needs. I don’t advise having another dog or cat around because she has a resource guarding issue and doesn’t like to hear growling or hissing at all.She did very well with my Chihuahua but because of her resource guarding with treats I can’t have her around my Chihuahua anymore. I only gave them treats in separate rooms but mistakes happen. The only time she would fight with my other dog would be if a treat was left out mistakenly. They recently had another fight over a bone and Luna had never bit down before during any other fight, but she did this time and caused my little dog to need stitches. I can’t have anything else happen to my Chihuahua.I know Luna would be a great fit for someone that is suitable for her needs.
