Story
Swipper is a super playful pup that LOVES to run and play with his doggie friends. He was kept in a crate the majority of his life and is under socialized, due to this he is nervous of new things, people, and average dog things like a leash. He will need someone who is willing to be patient with him and make him feel comfortable and understand that not all people or things are bad. He is a very sweet boy once he warms up. We are unsure of him and cats but as we say super slow introductions and patience is the best way to go. He would do best in a home with kids that are 10 and above that will respect his boundaries and have patience with him as he learns how to dog. He is crate trained and will use it as his safe space when he gets nervous. He is still very much a puppy with all the puppy tendencies and will benefit greatly from consistent training and patience. He is also housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Interested in adopting? Story
Meet sisters Harper and Hazel, five-month-old Australian Shepherd mixes. They now weigh around 25 pounds, but we expect them to mature to around 45-50 pounds. They both wear medium-length red, chocolate, and white coats; however, only Hazel has fluffy ears. They are a delight and do wonderfully with other dogs! Adopt Harper or Hazel and let them fill your life with joy! (ME, 11/4/24)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.November 12, 2024, 12:05 pm

Story
Meet the lovely Margo, whose journey began when her mother fell victim to a car accident. Her rescuer provided tender care, bottle-feeding her until she reached independence in eating. However, during this period, Margo encountered Distemper and faced neglect in a hoarding situation with her previous foster family, before finding her way to our rescue. Despite a challenging start, Ms. Margo has exhibited remarkable resilience as a fighter. Building trust with new people may take time, understandable given her past, but once she does, she transforms into a playful, affectionate, and amusing best friend. Margo is characterized by her playful nature, intelligence, responsiveness to food/treats, and friendliness towards dogs. Fully house and crate-trained, she is ready for a family to call her own. Don't miss the chance to make Margo a part of your family! Please fill out an adoption application today through our online form: https://serendipityanimalrescue.org/pet-adoption-application/
