Story
This excerpt is from my previous owners: I am a purebred Australian Shepherd originally adopted from Silverside Aussies in South Hill, Va. I have completed basic training at Holiday Barn but I still need some leash work. I have been attending doggie daycare a few days each week and love playing with the other pups. I also get along well with humans. I have never been around cats and don’t know how I might react. I am completely house trained and crate trained. I have no destructive behaviors but may run away with a sock occasionally. I have lots of energy and require both physical and mental exercise daily. Sadly, my senior owners ran into some major health issues, could no longer care for me, and had to surrender me to the shelter. Everyone is heartbroken. I am a beautiful dog waiting for the perfect home.

Story
Swipper is a super playful pup that LOVES to run and play with his doggie friends. He was kept in a crate the majority of his life and is under socialized, due to this he is nervous of new things, people, and average dog things like a leash. He will need someone who is willing to be patient with him and make him feel comfortable and understand that not all people or things are bad. He is a very sweet boy once he warms up. We are unsure of him and cats but as we say super slow introductions and patience is the best way to go. He would do best in a home with kids that are 10 and above that will respect his boundaries and have patience with him as he learns how to dog. He is crate trained and will use it as his safe space when he gets nervous. He is still very much a puppy with all the puppy tendencies and will benefit greatly from consistent training and patience. He is also housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Interested in adopting? Yozuri and her sister Yamaha were found when their foster parents were on a walk. The sisters came trotting out of the woods where they had been living in a cardboard box. She is housetrained and crate trained. She gets along with everyone, loves toys, and playing fetch. Yozuri is smart, comes when called, and gives attention easily. She is a playful girl but also loves to snuggle. She is a delight to have around. This girl deserves a home to treat her like a princess.
