Story
Lora Lee is a very sweet dog that is just 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds.  She is said to be an Aussie mix with some Terrier.  Whatever the mix is we think she is a most unusual and truly a beautiful girl who well with other dogs in her foster home.  She is a friend to all and apparently she is house trained as long as taken out regular. Lola Lee is crate trained but cannot be left for long hours in the crate.  She is not leash trained  but is trying to improve.   We are requesting that applicants have a fenced yard for her because she is an active girl that needs to run and play with freedom and not at the end of a leash only. This beauty loves to cuddle and be by your side like your BFF and shadow. If you have another dog that would be great for her to have a playmate that can help her wear out her energy every day.  Lola Lee is a great girl and she is going to need an active family that can challenge and meet her need for exercise and be able to keep up with her.   She is really not a dog for a retirement couple that are ready to have a more laidback dog with fewer exercise demands.  If you are interested in this girl please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 16, 2025, 8:33 pm

Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. Story
Hi, everyone. My name is Special Stella, and I am a beloved, fun, well-trained 5 year old Yellow Lab/Aussie mix girl that is only 50 pounds and who is looking for a new home without young children.  I have been with my young couple, mom and dad.For the past four years, and I have been very happy and loved. And during that time, it was discovered that young energetic children made me nervous.   Now my mom and dad are having a baby and they say it would be best if I went to a home with no young young children and yeah, would be best.If I was the only dog unless I lived with a submissive male, that would not challenge me to be the top dog.   I have lived with a cat and my only bad habit is I love cat food. I am housebroken and crate, trained and leash trained, and I know commands. And I am a very good girl. That will be your buddy, rick riding around town and your suv or a pickup truck or going out on the lake in the boat for the summer months.  I'm really a good girl, but I just have 2 things that I probably do. Don't meet in my life and that is a dominant dog around me and young children. That are you being what god made them to be,  young, energetic and loud and sometimes a little too quick to make movements that make me nervous.   We are all heartbroken that I have to find a new home. Critter Cavalry promised my Dad, who originally adopted me just to be his buddy before he got married, that they would help me find the perfect place for me to live out the next ten years or more of my life.   I promise to be the best companion you've ever had.   Please consider me to come and live with you and watch TV. At your feet or go for hikes. In the woods or just take naps in the afternoon on a lazy Winter day.  I am fully vetted and microchipped and come with great dog manners and very few bad habits. Unless you have a cat and I try to eat their food.  Please consider me and write to Critter.Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  Tell them where you live: city and state.   They are based in Tennessee and not only adoot to Tennessee, but also transport to the Northeast.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 27, 2025, 10:05 pm

Story
This stunning tricolored beauty is called Murphy girl and she is a pure bred Australian. Shepard, that is just a year old.and weighs 42 pounds. She was adopt it as a puppy. By a young woman that lived in an apartment and had no idea, the need for exercise and training guidance.  Murphy girl was given love but not very much guidance or training and definitely not enough exercise as she grew through her. Young puppyhood into her current teenage stage of life.   She is currently with an extremely get the dog whisperer, who has multiple dogs that are teaching her all the right ways to act and how to live happily within a community of other dogs.  She is now getting not only great training guidance, but also plenty of exercise and a schedule to live within. She now knows the expectations of her human foster and is coming around to happy obedience and consideration of other dogs and people.   If you know the hurting breed, then you certainly are a candidate for adoption.  If you understand the need for a secured and fenced yard and have one, then you are definitely on your way to qualification for her.  If you would like to put her into some fun activities and training, and maybe agility classes or flyball, then please raise your hand and talk with us.   Contact us at Critter Cavalry Rescue, email  ccrnewengland@gmail.com  or text our phone at 615 661 5333   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 17, 2025, 9:25 pm

Story
Dusty is an amazing dog, but is very picky about our other dogs being around him. But will tolerate most other dogs. and doesn't like the toddler. He does fine with older kids and would probably be fine with small dogs and cats. He is super lovable and active. Loves tug of war and chasing 4 wheelers. Has been trained around chickens, and has done 2 rounds of obedience classes.

These pups are in Portsmouth, Virginia too!

Story
Available for Adoption in Portsmouth VA Meet Kinder! Kinder is a 5.5 month old (DOB 8/31/24) Aussiedoodle puppy that will steal your heart! He is about 16 lbs (will be mini sized full grown) and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. He was rescued in Oklahoma. Kinder is not neutered yet and would require a neuter contract to adopt. With his crazy hair, he will require regular grooming, so find a professional groomer and put them on speed dial! Kinder has almost finished potty training and can typically be kenneled for several hours before needing to go potty. He has learned lay down and is doing well with recall, but sit remains to be a difficult task as it requires him to hold still, a skill that is not in his DNA. He has a 1 second attention span, but is wiggles and smiles all the time. Professional training or an experienced owner would be beneficial for this boy. Kinder loves his people so much and wants to be close to his them at all times. He loves to cuddle and get chest scratches. He is a high energy pup that has a hard time holding still, unless he is cuddling or sleeping. Kinder is crate trained, but does not necessarily care to be in the crate and is very vocal when he wants out. He does sleep 7-8 hours through the night without a peep, but he will let you know the moment that he is awake. He prefers that his crate is covered to create a darker environment for sleeping. Kinder would prefer other confident furry friends to play with, but is also just happy to have alone time with his people. He gets along with everyone (cats, dogs, chickens, kids) and loves to meet new people. He is a ball of joy and energy! Kinder is so so sweet and the best hugger you will find. He will make the perfect addition to your family, as long as you have patience! If Kinder sounds perfect for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family, a REFUNDABLE $50 neuter deposit to be refunded upon proof of procedure and a $100 transport fee which is 1/2 of what we paid to transport him from OK to VA.
